- Your story Failed to mention that this was not the first time Eason Jordan made accusations like this against the U.S. Military before a foreign audience. - His statements were a slap in the face of our military and only encouraged those who would like to destroy our way of life and with it your little newspaper...

Why isn't the Times asking for the Eason Jordan Video Tape to be released? Are you not interested in the truth?

I bet he did say it, the controversy seems to be over his firing and how that is a slap on the military?s face. Why are we skipping the part about whether his statements are true or not? It seems we in the US are assuming it is a lie that he is making up. Since he?s said it more than once, perhaps we should investigate the claims validity before assuming it?s a lie and condemning the man. It?s hard to believe that our country would be responsible for such reprehensible behavior, at least it is if all you know about is what you?ve been taught in school or read in the newspapers. However an objective review of US history presents a far different picture if you make the effort to study it.

  2. You would have to jump back a few days and check some of the links to get the full story. - Eason made statements, vacillated over his belief in said statements and the only proof (a tape) is being hidden/held from the public. Had the U.S. military been shooting journalists purposefully and had Jordan gotten proof it would have been the front story on all networks. The man has a credibility issue and should not have even gotten his ex-job.
