Clinton's Prostate Turns 60 - HIV/AIDS Turns 23

August 15 2006 - Bill Clinton - Before the 16th International AIDS Conference in Toronto, Canada. - "In just a few days, I will be 60 years old. I hate it, but it's true," he stated.

Ben Shapiro noted this 'Ode to Clinton's ego' (by Bill Clinton) in an article he wrote. - Clinton's Prostate Turns 60 - I thought the title so good I stole it for this blogpost.

As Shapiro notes this was an Aids Conference. I could see Bill talking about it at his birthday party but this was a conference that was designed to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS. Billy Boy uses it as a way to remind people to buy him a present...

Good article Shapiro wrote comparing the post cold war Clinton years and the war on terrorism years we are currently in. Do we need Dr. Phil or Churchill in office? I suggest you go read it AFTER you finish reading this post and leaving a comment.

Ben Shapiro got me off on a rabbit trail concerning the Toronto event. I wondered what can these conferences be doing and saying that demands all this money be spent on those who attend them instead of taking care of AIDS patients.

So here is a few lines I culled from Google news on the subject of the 16th International AIDS Conference:

Socialist Worker Online: The great powers, and politicians such as George Bush and Tony Blair bear the heaviest responsibility for the death toll of Aids.

The original red team went on to say:

But governments in the developing world also stand in the way of tackling Aids.

The South African government stall at the Toronto conference featured lemons, garlic and beets, which it claimed were helpful in treating Aids.

Nathan Geffen, TAC's national manager who was at the conference, told Socialist Worker, "There is a plethora of rhetoric at these events, but much less delivery."

Lifesite.net has the headline: Even Canadian Government says Toronto AIDS Conference Irrational - Canada's federal Health Minister, Tony Clement, expressed his frustration with the Toronto International AIDS Conference saying the meeting was so politically charged it was "becoming a place where you couldn't have a rational discussion."

AND

Clement ... announced the creation of a government-funded centre to study the root social causes of disease. (I want that job. Just sit around and blog all day and when they ask for the answer just say, "Zippers that work both ways.")

AND

Clement's criticisms of the Conference were echoed in Thursday's National Post in a piece by Fr. Raymond de Souza, a priest of the Archdiocese of Kingston and a regular columnist for the Post. He wrote that the Conference was more about a self-congratulatory cult of celebrity than about AIDS and touted a one-sided approach to AIDS that has more to do with politics than the disease.

"In the midst of Stephen Lewis lauding Bill Clinton praising Bill Gates congratulating Bill Clinton paying tribute to Stephen Lewis," De Souza wrote, "it is hard to know what to make" of the AIDS Conference.

I could go on and on with articles both praising the conference and lambasting it. The bottom line is that the AIDS conferences appear to have been taken over by the condom factories and the "Hate Bush" crowd. Abstinence is a hated word. These jokers spend all their time talking and most of those manning the booths are probably making a bundle from the cash the world's taxpayers spend on HIV/AIDS awareness. Self centeredness seems to be the bottom line as shown by Bill Clinton's musing of his growing older.

Politics is fine in the halls of government but when peoples lives are at stake it should be set aside. The railing against the U.S. military should not be part of these meetings. These International Conferences are a waste of money.

After all, what good is it in wanting all the money currently spent on the war on terrorism to be spent on posters for AIDS awareness. Those who do avoid the disease would only die at the hands of terrorists. Meanwhile the people at the conference get their 'fair' share.

Want Big Brother As A Back Seat Driver?

Well the good folks at The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) wants to put black boxes into your auto. Whether you like it or not.

It is for your own good of course. Whether you like it or not.

Eric Peters wrote an article giving more details. Here is a little teaser of what he says:

Tied into GPS navigation computers, EDRs could give interested parties the ability to take automated ticketing to the next level. Since the data recorders can continuously monitor most of the operating parameters of a vehicle as it travels -- and the GPS unit can precisely locate the vehicle in "real time," wherever it happens to be at any given moment -- any and all incidents of "speeding" could be immediately detected and a piece of paying paper issued to the offender faster than he could tap the brake. That's even if he knew he was in the crosshairs, which of course he wouldn't. Probably they'll just erect an electronic debiting system of some sort that ties directly into your checking account -- since the paperwork could not keep up with the massive uptick in fines that would be generated.

If you think this is just a dark-minded paranoiac vision, think again. Rental car companies have already deployed a very similar system of onboard electronic monitoring to identify customers who dare to drive faster than the posted limit -- and automatically tap them with a "surcharge" for their scofflaw ways. While this inventive form of "revenue enhancement" was challenged and subsequently batted down by the courts, the technology continues to be honed -- and quietly put into service.

Work Around Problems Instead Of

That is one of the philosophies of life I live by and so does T.L. Stanley of the good old New Rosemead Times.

So what happened? Whuts the problum? - Google's Blogger.com has gotten uppety and decided to put out a new BETA.blogger.com and integrated the new with Google's entire services so one password firts all.

"what's a firt?" you ask? Started as a typo but I think it should be made into a new word to describe what Google did. - Nice idea but it left some that were satisfied before the changes out in the cold...

Ever been there? I have been lots of times...

Problem is that it incorporated more that some accounts were ready for and T.L. was one of those left out in the cold. He could not access his old account to post blogs.

Did that Stop him?

No!!!

Not the "It takes a village" kind of friend but the kinds that steps above the carnal/natural and into the Christian/We's all God's Chillun' kind of friend.

What we called in the service the 'Esprit de' Corps' (We did not know in the '70's what jerks the French were) or at the church I attend, 'Kinship of Spirit' (much better and closer to the truth)...

Why Seek God When You Can Have Him Seek You?

Church was really good today. Wish you were there. For those of you who could not make it here is a very small touch of the sermon.

target="_blank">John Chapter 4 vs. 21-24 - (Jesus talking to the Samaritan woman at the well) -

21: Jesus declared, "Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22: You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23: Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24: God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." - (NIV)

Bottom line: It matters not which way we face nor where we are on planet earth. - We keep seeking God while we do not have to. God will seek after us when we learn to worship Him.

'Spirit and in truth' is from the heart and willing to admit our shortcomings.

Message on Terrorism From A Jewish Christian

Got this email from a personal friend. I've known this man for years and will stand behind the following as being true and not just made up verbiage to stir up emotions. - prying1 -

As most of you know, I was born and raised a Jew in Brooklyn, New York. My parents were of the WWII generation. My father was a soldier in the United States Army in the fight against the Axis powers and the Nazi holocaust against the Jews.

It was part of the Jewish upbringing I received to have instilled in me a knowledge and remembrance of the evil the Nazis perpetrated on the Jews and the world. The Jewish motto was, "Never forget!" lest such an evil rise again.

So, as part of my education, my parents told and showed me all the details of the Nazi holocaust. I read much literature, such as The Diary of Anne Frank, and saw countless photographs and films documenting the horrors and atrocities. My brain is seared with the black & white images taken when Eisenhower and the liberation troops first entered the concentration camps.

I also had many family members murdered by the Nazis in Poland and Lithuania. Many of my maternal grandmothers cousins and brothers and sisters were killed by the Nazis in concentration camps. I have pictures of them as young people. My maternal grandparents had escaped from Russia during the early anti-Jewish pogroms prior to the Russian revolution.

One story that was told to me over and over is the following.

I had a cousin, who has since passed away, named Jennie. I knew her when I was a child. She was, then, an elderly widow living in Trenton, New Jersey. When she was a young woman, she had been arrested in Poland, by the Nazis, and put in a concentration camp. On a cold winter's day, when the snow was deep, she was forced to strip naked, with a group of women doing likewise. They were marched out in the snow, naked, to a place where they were all going to be shot. My cousin Jennie was very exhausted and faint and collapsed into a bank of snow. At that moment, she was sure she would be shot in the back by one of the Nazi guards. Amazingly, they did not see her and marched on. A Christian woman living on a farm nearby, later found her lying in the snow and stealthily brought her back to her farm. She nursed her back to health and then helped to smuggle her out to the United States.

This is one story in a thousand. Growing up in the Jewish community in Brooklyn, I knew survivors who still had tattoos on their arms from the Nazi concentration camps.
I used to have dreams, two or three times a year, since early childhood, that Nazis were looking for me. They wanted to kill me because I was Jewish. They continued into my late adulthood.

When the Allied troops defeated Germany and her allies in WWII they outlawed Nazism. Nazism is illegal in Germany as it should be. Any philosophy that advocates the genocide of any race should be declared illegal by a sane world. It should not be permitted to exist and flourish.

During WWII, the Arab nations loved Hitler. They had a name for him in Arabic which is translated "the great one." His philosophy of exterminating the Jews agreed with their philosophy, set forth in the Koran. There was a branch of the SS that was Islamic. I have seen films, and have a video tape, of them marching in Storm Trooper uniforms, identical to that of the German SS except for their hats. They wore the fez instead of the traditional high-peaked Nazi hat. When the war was over, these Islamic Nazis were never held accountable for their dastardly crimes. They simply took off their uniforms and melted back into the population. They taught their sons and grandsons to continue to hate the Jews with traditional Nazi fervor and Islamic tradition.

I have seen, and you can see too, the verses from the Koran that urge its adherents to kill all those who do not bow to Allah and their Islamic beliefs. The Koran enjoins them to make jihad, holy war, against all the infidels. There are verses which tell them to behead, boil in oil, and flay the skin from those who are not Muslim.

This is their scripture!

The mild Muslims who say they are for peace do not come out and make a stand against the terrorists. This is because they secretly admire them for being more fanatically dedicated to what they believe their 'word of god' is. So the mild ones simply adopt as their mission the job of infiltrating Western society, to make inroads, so the more dedicated Muslims can come and do the work of Allah.

Shouldn't we have the courage to see this for what it is? If our parents and grandparents had the courage to call the Nazis evil, and outlaw them, why can't we have the backbone to do the same? Shouldn't any religion or philosophy that advocates such violence and genocide be made illegal? Political correctness has gone too far. The situation has gotten out of hand.

What is really called for seems unthinkable with our standards of tolerance today. Islam should be declared illegal in the United States and they should all be exported back to the violent wasteland that is their home.

God knew what He was saying when He told His people to kill all of their enemies, man, woman and child and not leave one of them standing.

That sounds really radical, doesn't it?

Read your Bible.

I don't say we should kill them all, but at the very least they should be outlawed and expelled from this country. Otherwise, we will follow in the footsteps of Europe and Great Britain. You know what is happening there. Somehow or other, America must get a grip on this, and face the reality of the terrible evil that is infiltrating our society behind the smiling faces and the reasonable statement that, "We're just trying to seek a better life for our families."

2 Corinthians 11:14, 15 says, "And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works."

Can a tree which has a rotten root produce good fruit? Can a well that gives salt water also give fresh water?

Just as when I was a child I had dreams of the Nazis trying to kill me, I recently started having dreams that Muslims were trying to kill me. It is the same story, over and over.

If a Muslim knew I was writing this, he would try to kill me. Don't send this to a Muslim friend.

Blessings and wisdom in Christ are desperately needed. We need courage to face the enemy and do what is needed or we are lost.

Pray, brothers and sisters, pray. This is serious.

prying1 sez: The United States does allow freedom of religion but on the other hand outlaws treason. If a group of people or a so called religion is in effect treasonous to any country or other group of people by teaching genocide and murder should it be allowed continued existence in this country? Or any other for that matter?

Back in the 70's we had several home grown terrorist groups like The Weathermen, Black Panthers, SLA, etc. that were in effect outlawed and it's adherents rightfully jailed. Most of those groups died out from attrition.

What if thousands or even hundreds of thousands of people had been allowed to enter the U.S. for the reason of joining those groups and working towards the destruction of this nation? Should that have been allowed? Wouldn't we call foolish any nation that allowed such?

Should the people of the United States demand of it's elected officials that the adherents of Mohammed be officially labeled as a cult and forcibly removed from our nation as a danger to us and our children? - Some will say it is unconstitutional but establishment clause was not designed for the destruction of this nation nor was it designed to put it's populace under the slavery and fear generated by this group of people.

These are questions that should be given serious thought by anyone religious, new age, agnostic and atheist alike. The threat is not just with towards one group. It is towards all groups. Including themselves AND those (mild) Muslims who are quite possibly setting us up...

I've had problems signing in to blogger.com recently due to their addition of blogger.beta.com Instructions for fixing it were readily available but since I'm the kind of guy that likes to put things together without the instructions, take it back apart and then do it right with the instructions it took me a while to read the 'fix'. For those of you in the same fix and having troubles signing in I present the instructions here:

1.) Look at the top of the blogger page and if it says BETA then sign out.

2.) Go to: www.blogger.com

3.) Sign in there with your BLOGGER name (not gmail address) and with the BLOGGER password (not gmail password)

4.) Look at top of page and see if the word beta appears repeat step one, two, and three.

5. Continue until bedtime...

6. Dream that it fixed itself and you write the post of all posts!

In Answer To An atheist

An 'atheist' (I gather from his posting) put forth the proposition that God is not. I answered with this:

What you or I think about the matter, what science says about a creator that lives outside of space and time as we know it does not matter. Either God is or isn't.

What we think of gods and fairies from eras past does not enter into the argument. It still comes down to either God is or he isn't.

Because you have never met Him (it takes faith) means you are speaking from inexperience. I have met Him so I speak from experience. Which counts for more points in being correct?

Experience of course.

But then you will argue that I (and every other Christian) is deluded, hallucinating, a hoaxter or a liar.

That still leaves you inexperienced while I, right or wrong will still be standing on what I have experienced.

Good luck standing on nothing...

Comment To a Lefty

I get started in the morn visiting a few sites and next thing you know I'm out of time to post on my own. - Well, here is a comment I left on Senor Peer's Huffington Compost. A posting he had of a poignant cartoon had brought a lefty to his site. I don't know why lefties quit commenting on my blog so I have to go hunt them down on other peoples sites. - Anyway here is my comment and I think it apropos for many lefties.

There are whack jobs of all stripes as Joe has shown. BUT (there is the big but) Joe, you should re-read what you have posted.

Your emotions concerning Bush have put you close to the edge. George Bush is not the enemy. George Bush did not have explosives put into the twin towers. The Moon walk was not staged in Hollywood and Area 51 is not controlled by extraterrestrial.

If you are going to be angry then you should direct it at those Islamofacists that want to take away your freedoms by causing the precautions to be taken.

The terrorists are your enemies. Not some guy in govt. that is datamining phone numbers looking for terrorists. Not some bookkeeper that is going through financial records looking for terrorists. Not the FBI or the CIA or Cheney or Bush!

The terrorists want YOU dead or converted to their religion.

Which would you choose if it came down to it? Would you convert or die?!

Or would you prefer they die first?

Teacher Applicant

After being interviewed by the school administration, the eager teaching prospect said:

Let me see if I've got this right. You want me to go into that room with all those kids, and fill their every waking moment with a love for learning, and I'm supposed to instill a sense of pride in their ethnicity, modify their disruptive behavior, observe them for signs of abuse and even censor their T-shirt messages and dress habits. You want me to wage a war on drugs and sexually transmitted diseases, check their backpacks for weapons of mass destruction, and raise their self esteem. You want me to teach them patriotism, good citizenship, sportsmanship, fair play, how to register to vote, how to balance a checkbook, and how to apply for a job. I am to check their heads for lice, maintain a safe environment, recognize signs of anti-social behavior, make sure all students pass the state exams, even those who don't come to school regularly or complete any of their assignments. Plus, I am to make sure that all of the students with handicaps get an equal education regardless of the extent of their mental or physical handicap. I am to communicate regularly with the parents by letter, telephone, newsletter and report card. All of this I am to do with just a piece of chalk, a computer, a few books, a bulletin board, a big smile, AND on a starting salary that qualifies my family for food stamps! You want me to do all of this and then you tell me . . .

I CAN'T PRAY ????

Praying for Peace

A few days back Quantum Thought sent me on a journey that introduced me to someone on his blogroll. Someone who has been Norm's friend for quite a while from what I gather. Praying for Peace
Every Sunday part of the general prayers is a prayer for peace in the world and a cessation of war. This is a desirable state of affairs, but coupled with the prayer seems to be an attitude that simply stopping the fighting is a solution and that it will create peace.

I have a sense that most mainline protestant religions have been hijacked by a pacifistic attitude, that simply not fighting is a good in itself. They have gotten the wrong message from the gospel, elevating turning the other cheek to abject surrender, and sweeping Jesus cleansing the temple and saying he came to split brother from brother, etc., under the rug. In effect, what should be the bastion of unbending morality and rectitude, the church, has become a resting place for moral equivalencing and a sloppy "We are all brothers" [despite the fact that my "brother" will behead me or put me in servitude.]

What we should be praying for is VICTORY. A total conquest over the forces of Islamic Jihad. Praying for peace is a way of avoiding making the very moral judgments that are required, because the shape of the peace being prayed for is never explicitly defined, as if it were self-evident. If the world is saved from Islamic Jihad, it will be the fundamentalists and the Baptists who will do the job. Despite my various disagreements with their version of Christianity, they have one great strength--they make moral judgments unapologetically, and that is what is sorely needed here.

I would like to add to what Bill has stated with a bit of what a friend from a men's fellowship group I attend said today. -

"Mike", who was born and raised in Beirut, talked about what it will really take to end hostility. Mike claimed it will take the Gospel (Good news) of Jesus Christ and His ability to change men's hearts.

As Bill said, prayer will be needed, but with it the power of God to change men's hearts will have to be thrown into the mix. This goes beyond the physical use of force and the fight will have to be carried on in the spiritual realm. Military hardware will not end the hostilities.

Why is it the fanatical Muslims stand against anyone being converted and use the threat of death to keep people in fear of even hearing the gospel? Those Imams with any knowledge of Christianity know it is much more inviting than the teachings of Islam. To allow the people under them to even look at Christianity would undermine their power. So they take the commandment, "Thou shalt not kill" and change it to "Thou shalt not kill unless we give you the ok and we do!"

It is nothing more than men's desire to keep for themselves the power that belongs to the Living God. The only thing that can counter it is prayer and the Word of the Living God.

At this point I challenge any Muslims reading this to check out What Jesus said to his disciples on the last night of his sojourn here on earth. At the Last Supper the Apostle John recorded Jesus' word and put them into writing. Please click here and check out John Chapters 14 through 17. Liberals Outraged! Terrorist Plot Foiled!

21 suspects have been arrested by British Police in a plot to destroy passenger jets flying between the United Kingdom and the United States. The plot involved carrying on liquid explosives made to appear as beverages and other common products and simple electronic devices as detonators.

All U.S. and British airports are banning passengers from taking ANY liquids onto planes.

More suspects may still be on the loose.

I managed to collect a few comments and observations concerning this news event:

"They were trying to help the environment", said Crystal Claire Waters of the Hug A Prickley Pine Endowment (HAPPE). "Those things polute the air and make it hard for trees to breath."

Forrest Green Agreed 100% with Crystal and anxiously added, "Don't forget the contrails! They are secretly poisoning the atmosphere with stuff that makes anyone who breathes air stupid!

Ileane Left was overheard at a foil hat botique to say, "Did they tap their phones? I bet they did! It is so unfair to tap peoples phones without telling them!"

Jay Walker who was helping her pick out the right shade of silver foil hat shouted, "Anarchy!" three times and then fell to the floor crying and mumbling about the wires in his head.

I called Francis Useless of the "Hate Bush Because He Exists Foundation" to get his take on the terrorists arrest. He had a prepared statement:

"President Bush is at fault here. We will show how the dots are connected as soon as we figure it out."

Another VA Computer Gone Missing

You may remember the May 3rd theft of a laptop from the home of a Department of Veterans Affairs employee. - Jesus Alex Pineda, 19, and Christian Brian Montano, 19, of Rockville, Maryland, were charged with burglary and theft and Montano received an additional charge of conspiracy to commit burglary and theft. They apparently did not know what they were stealing when they broke into the home and at least five other burglaries in the neighborhood might have been linked to these alleged hooligans.

A juvenile may also have been involved. His name wasn't released because of his age. (I wonder why they did not release the parents names?)

Quite a HooDoo a few months back that had quite a few feds running around the neighborhood which I'm sure made Jesus and Christian very uncomfortable.

This time it is a desktop computer stolen from the Reston, Virginia offices of Unysis a contractor for the VA.

The computer had veterans' names, addresses, Social Security numbers and birth dates, as well as insurance carriers, billing information and details of military service.

Affected are 5,000 patients of a Philadelphia VA Medical Center, about 11,000 from Pittsburgh, Pa., and about 2,000 deceased patients and perhaps as much as 20,000 more.

Unisys is fully cooperating with the investigation. The building was a fairly secure facility and the computer needed a password to boot up and another to access the files.

Unisys spokesperson Lisa Meyer said in a prepared statement."Unisys will be working with VA regarding the notification of potentially affected veterans and the offering of credit monitoring. The company will continue to work with the VA and law enforcement to address this incident..."

Hopefully it will be found out that some innocent tech took the machine to his dungeon workshop to switch out the video card. The Insanity Is On the Terrorist's Side!

Blog surfing this morn I came across Another Political View run by R. Rodgers. He had a blogpost entitled Stop the Insanity in which he has a picture of a mass grave trench filled with assorted sized coffins. Quite a different scene than the ones we've seen of Sadamm's Iraqi mass graves where there were no coffins.

R. Rodgers stated this next to the photo:

This photo is from Lebanon and was posted on AntiWar.Com. Every legitimate State has the right to protect itself from aggression; however in this case to assert you are only targeting the enemy is ludicrous. Killing women and children and destroying another countries infrastructure is WRONG. As you can see from the photo the small coffins are children. The United Nations has determined that half the casualties in this conflict are children.

Mr. Rodgers failed to mention that the U.N. troops in Lebanon has Hezbollah terrorist flags flying right next to U.N. flags. - Oh well. - A lot of comments were left on this post. Here is the one I left:

Israel cannot call a permanent cease fire and stop their attack against Hezbollah. If they did Hezbollah would continue to strengthen themselves, import more rockets from Iran and continue on it's quest to destroy Israel.

I'm sure there are some reading this that hate Jews and would like that to happen. They need to realize it would not stop there! Some countries have learned that terrorists like to destroy people be they Jewish, Christian or Muslum.

If Israel were to be pushed into the sea as the terrorists have promised to do then they will not stop. They will continue to take over Europe, the Philippines, India and the U.S..

By standing against Israel in this situation people are in effect standing with terrorists.

You cannot blame the U.S. and Israel for the actions of terrorists. They kill and murder because that is their nature. To protect the majority of innocents we must turn against the terrorists and kill them. They will not listen to reason.

Terrorist organizations cannot be allowed to run free because they hide behind the skirts of women and crouch behind the small bodies of children. The picture is sad but on the other hand would the picture have happened if Iran had not shipped the Hezbollah terrorists and their weapons to Lebanon?

To those who say Israel should stop their actions against Hezbollah I say, "Your peace, safety, loved ones, and even your life will be next if Israel looses."

Terrorists are not nice people that are just misunderstood.

The Koran As Seen By Infidels

Quantum Thought has a post that is titled: Unreformed Islam Leaves No Room For Negotiations Or Compromise With Infidels - In it Norm asks:

Why is it that these liberal media "problem solvers" who continually advocate some type or combination of rhetoric and/or negotiations completely ignore the essence of the Islamic religion?

and then states:

We are dealing with a religion that has not secularized it's political views through reformation as has the Western world. We no longer believe in theist governments...for Muslims there can be no other kind. We don't believe in the Divine Rule of Kings...the Pope does not force straying Western rulers to crawl in subjugation before him. The Islamic Mullahs do just that to their politicians.

They want world Islamic domination and total political control. Period. There is no room whatsoever for compromise. Do you need the be reminded of the geographic progress of the Muslims so far? All of the lands that were Assyria was once Christian. It is now all Islam. The Middle East and Africa is going fast.

Quantum Thought also has a previous post, The Quran Oozes Religious Intolerance. dated: Friday, July 21, 2006 which has a list showing intolerance from the Quran/Koran (Who decides on the spelling of this stuff anyway?) - The following lines are not word for word translations and if you want to check further into this I've got a link below.

I wanted to verify that what was listed was actually from the Quran/Koran so I did a little digging. (Thank you Google and Yahoo) - Found a site called Skeptics Annotated Quran which is part of Skeptics Annotated Bible. They also have the Skeptics Annotated Book of Mormon.

Some of the lines above say specifically 'Jews' or 'Christians' and the Koran text does not say specifically unless you read lines above the quoted text to see who is being talked about.

I'm reminded of Rodney King's famous line. "Can't we all just get along?"

It appears the answer is no...

Blow Dealt to NY Times Terrorist Supporters

Go right to the source I always say. Hence the NY Times is where I went when I heard the lead on this story. (Italics that follow are from me, myself and ONLY me The other crap was taken without permission from the NY Times website. - So sue me NY Times!!! I'd love to get you in a court of law!)

U.S. Wins Access to Reporter Phone Records

A federal prosecutor may inspect the telephone records of two New York Times reporters in an effort to identify their confidential sources, a federal appeals court in New York ruled yesterday.

And why isn't the NY Times HAPPY about this?

The 2-to-1 decision, from a court historically sympathetic to claims that journalists should be entitled to protect their sources, reversed a lower court and dealt a further setback to news organizations, which have lately been on a losing streak in the federal courts.

Oh! They are not getting sympathetic judges and are on a losing streak. - Does this include their finances? I can only hope!

The dissenting judge said that the government had failed to demonstrate it truly needed the records and that efforts to obtain reporters' phone records could alter the way news gathering was conducted.


Does this mean they might have to meet traitor(s) of their country in dark alleys or behind the bus station instead of sitting on the phone sitting behind their desks?

The case arose from a Chicago grand jury's investigation into

WHO TOLD

the two reporters, Judith Miller - - - (LEFTIES CLICK HERE) - - - and Philip Shenon - If you want to waste your time...) (This Dweeb can be heard on NPR from here , about actions the government was planning to take against two Islamic charities, Holy Land Foundation in Texas and Global Relief Foundation in Illinois. Though the government contended that calls from the reporters tipped off the charities to impending raids and asset seizures, the investigation appears to be focused on identifying the reporters' sources. No testimony has been sought from the reporters, and there has been no indication that their actions are a subject of the investigation.

OK! So someone leaked the information and we may soon find out who. No thanks to Judith Miller and Philip Shenon or the NY Times. HAVE THEY NO SHAME?

"No grand jury can make an informed decision to pursue the investigation further, much less to indict or not indict, without the reporters' evidence," Judge Ralph K. Winter Jr. wrote for majority, in an opinion joined by Judge Amalya Lyle Kearse. "We see no danger to a free press in so holding. Learning of imminent law enforcement asset freezes/searches and informing targets of them is not an activity essential, or even common, to journalism."

- Ohhhh! Here is the Majority opinion after they get the tears flowing for the pro-terrorist point of view. (Sniff, sniff hand me a hanky) - So WHY didn't the NY Times lead with this statement? - So if a drug bust is going down and a newsman learns of it beforehand and calls the drug dealers to ask, "How do you feel about going to jail?"...

Or if MASS MURDERERS and their associates are under investigation should the media be allowed to tip 'em off with a call saying, "HIGHTAIL IT! Columbo is on the case!"?....

George Freeman, vice president and assistant general counsel of The New York Times Company, disputed the majority's characterization. Ms. Miller and Mr. Shenon, he said, "were conducting their journalistic duties by getting reaction to an ongoing story."

George Freeman needs to be treated as the associate of Eason Jordan. Where is the bucket of tar and the pillow case of feathers?

If the lefties want to get they and their children's rectums blown from here to some place other than the Living God's 'kingdom come' that's fine with me. But leave me and the rest of the United States of America out of it!
