Pro Terrorist or Pro Israel?

Last Saturday I had the privilege to attend a pro terrorist gathering at the Federal Building on Wilshire, Los Angeles. I say 'privilege' because in the United States even fools and idiots have the right to free speech and this was evident at the event.

No. I did not go to support the terrorists. I went to defend Israel. Ended up being part of a small group of about 24 pro Israel supporters standing against 1500 to 2000 pro terrorists. This was Saturday (the Jewish Sabbath). Sunday, (the Christian Sabbath) was the day for a Pro Israel RALLY (as opposed to protest) but I could not attend due to church obligations. Sure wish I could have. From the account by THE TYGRRRR EXPRESS, a blogger whom I had the privilege of meeting at this event, the Sunday meeting was the more enjoyable one. He got to attend both and gives a great posting on them. Real peace and love was more in evidence at the Pro Israel Rally. Although the pro terrorists had a few (profane) counter voices there too.

The Saturday protest was in favor of Hamas continuing to lob missiles into Israel and the usual communistic hangers on were there too. The Che Guevara, Fidel is our friend & Kiss Mao's butt crowd with their nonsensical agenda. Put on by some group that spent hours making an acronym of a good word for their own nefarious purpose. The ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) Coalition. How is that for a catchy name?

Only problem with that name is that it is not true. Should be ANSWEREAJ. (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism EXCEPT AGAINST JEWS)

One woman there had the audacity to suggest to a Jew's face that the 'ovens' should be brought back. Profanity was shouted and the middle finger salute were thrust out of car windows as they passed waving Palestinian flags at our little group that had Israeli and U.S. Flags and a few signs. Anger directed toward us from these people was tempered by the cars that came by honking, throwing kisses and waving support for Israel.

My signs stated, "Does Allah Demand Human Sacrifice???" and the other said, "The God Of Israel Doesn't!!!".

One Pro terrorist woman walking by read my sign and angrily said, "Yes he does!" That kind of made me think a bit. Would she prefer my throat spilling blood on the sidewalk? Sounded like it. I mentioned my sign in a chatroom later and a friend sent me to this Atlas Shrugs link. That answered both my questions.

So it comes down to: Does one want to associate with a people that hate America, hate a race of people (racism), is continually profane, has a god that endorses human sacrifice, and wants to destroy any anti socialistic nations?

or

Support a country that truly does want peace in their region but is getting fed up with missiles landing in their back yards.

Warner Todd Huston posted an article at his Publius Forum concerning a Wisconsin State Journal opinion piece, Time To Try Educating 'terrorists' By Kevin J. Mack.

Kevin J. Mack lives in lala land. His attitude is that we simply walk up to Islamofacsist terrorists and

Of course this flies in the face of traditional religious thinking and will take some doing."

I had to check this Kevin J. Mack out a bit. He has submitted a couple letters to the editor previously and I found at Madison.com Archives this little ditty he wrote:

Mack's attitude is that this is Bush's war and not a worldwide war by thugs against democracy. Thugs against Kevin J. Mack. This has me wondering if he is one of those nutters that agrees with Rosie concerning explosives at the WTC. (Bush planted the bombs and fooled the terrorists into flying into the building!)

The "Hate Bush" crowd will continue to make fools of themselves and think themselves wise and all knowing but you are right in saying it gives encouragement to the terrorist thugs. The same thugs that would ululate as they hack off Kevin J. Mack's head as he tries to present the Humanist Manifesto to them.

End Of Six Party Talks With North Korea?

All of the news sites make it appear that the 6 party talks with North Korea are over.

weapons programme, the US envoy to six-nation disarmament talks said.

Hill said Monday would be the final day of talks, which started Thursday on an optimistic note with host China presenting a proposal for North Korea to take initial steps towards disarmament in return for economic incentives.

This Is How To Run A War! - Somali Government Whoops On Islamic Militia -

Somalia has decided that utilizing political correctness in dealing with murderers and terrorists doesn't work.

The UN-backed Somali government is closing in on a fortified town occupied by remnants of the Islamic militia that formerly controlled much of the country, a government official said Friday.

Government troops, supported by soldiers from neighbouring Ethiopia, are preparing to attack Ras Kamboni on the southern tip of Somalia, where fighters for the Council of Islamic Courts have dug in, Defence Minister Col. Barre (Hirale) Aden Shire said.

"Today we will launch a massive assault on the Islamic courts
militias," he said. "They have dug huge trenches around Ras Kamboni but have only two options: to drown in the sea or to fight and die."

Meanwhile, the U.S. navy is patrolling the Indian Ocean near the town to prevent the militia from escaping, the Associated Press reported.

Government and Ethiopian forces have been fighting the militia since Ethiopia declared war on the Islamic militants on Dec. 24. The militia has been driven from the capital, Mogadishu, and much of the area they occupied in southern Somalia.

The militants want to rule Somalia according to Islamic law.

NY Times Whines to Ruth Bader Ginsburg!

And then they have the audacity to report it in their paper as if they did the right thing.

Here is the deal.

Judith Miller and Philip Shenon are being investigated into who in the government illegally leaked information which both 'newspeople' used to inform two Islamic charities (read: terrorist money launderers) that their lovely offices were about to be raided.

Some lovely quotes from the lovely news gathering service The New York Times article concerning their lovely employees (Lovely Judith Miller of "Into the Cooler" fame is currently no longer working there):

The United States attorney in Chicago, Patrick J. Fitzgerald, sought the reporters' records directly from their phone companies, and The Times filed suit to stop him.

In August, a divided three-judge panel of the federal appeals court in Manhattan ruled in favor of Mr. Fitzgerald, saying the reporters were not entitled to shield their sources. The needs of law enforcement, the majority said, outweighed any protections the reporters might have in the First Amendment or other areas of law.

The paper's filing yesterday was a limited one, seeking an order from Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg staying the appeals court decision until the Supreme Court has an opportunity to decide whether to hear the case. The deadline for seeking review of the appeals court's decision is in January, but The Times said it would move faster.

"If the government is permitted to proceed to scrutinize the telephone records of The New York Times and its journalists," Mr. Abrams said, "it will be in a position to identify literally scores of confidential sources, thus imperiling both the ability of the press to gather the news and of the public to learn it."

Personally I'd rather the government had the ability to capture terrorists than to allow the press to have the ability to imperil the lives of federal law-enforcement personnel and citizens that just happen to be passing by, if and when a terrorist funding organization decides they don't want their offices searched.

Would Judith Miller and Philip Shenon be guilty of murder had the people in charge of searching these terrorist funding offices been killed?

Once again the NY Times is on the side of evil people. This time the evil people were working for them...

Suicide Bomber and a College President

The Democracy Project asks if this is appropriate. Pictured above is University of Pennsylvania president Amy Gutmann with Saad Saadi - a student of her college.

The Democracy Project stated: (Quote) University of Pennsylvania president Amy Gutmann threw her annual Halloween costume party at her home Tuesday night. Among the guests was Saad Saadi, who came dressed as a suicide bomber, complete with plastic dynamite strapped to his chest and a toy automatic rifle. Worse, Gutmann posed with Saadi!

An obvious question: would Gutmann have posed with a guest--or even allowed him into her house--if he'd dressed as Adolf Hitler or a Nazi SS officer? A KKK member? (End quote)

Pictures once posted on Saad Saadi's website have been taken down. But you know how the internet is. The originals can be seen at the above linked website.


Saad, when he removed the pictures from his website placed this disclaimer in it's place, (Quote) - "My friend, Jason, and I express our condolences and sympathy to all offended by our costumes. We wish to make it clear that we do not support terrorism, violence, or anything that is against society. There is no agenda or statement associated with our behavior shown in these pictures. The costumes are meant to portray scary characters much like many other costumes on Halloween. We are deeply sorry for anyone who has been hurt or upset. Additionally, we strive for all societies to instill healthy non-violent values." (End quote)

Digging around Saad's website he links to this Google page of videos Saad Saadi has uploaded. Some of the videos really show him striving real hard to instill healthy non-violent values.


Amy Gutman posted a statement: (quote) "Each year, the president hosts a Halloween party for Penn students. More than 700 students attend. They all crowd around to have their picture taken with me in costume. This year, one student who had a toy gun in hand had his picture taken with me before it was obvious to me that he was dressed as a suicide bomber. He posted the photo on a website and it was picked up on several other websites.

The costume is clearly offensive and I was offended by it. As soon as I realized what his costume was, I refused to take any more pictures with him, as he requested. The student had the right to wear the costume just as I, and others, have a right to criticize his wearing of it." (End quote)

Prying1 sez: I think this is disgusting but typical of the left. Looking at the pictures shows that at least some of these kids think this is funny. One of the videos Saad uploaded shows their total disdain for President Bush but it also shows that he has a lot of growing up to do. I expect college students to do stupid things. The videos show that. I do have to wonder how true Amy Gutmans statement is re: her not realizing Saad was dressed as a suicide bomber. For some reason I have a lot of doubt that is true.

San Francisco Rampage MSM Coverage

Regarding Omeed Popal. The Hit and Run Driver who mowed down Jews in San Francisco. - Once again I left a comment on another site - Verum Serum - and decided to bring it over here. (Slightly modified for clarification on a point.)

The way the media handled this one just shows that they cannot be trusted to give us ALL the facts. That the guy was a Muslum rolling over people in a predominately Jewish Neighborhood might have deserved a mention from the get go.

Most I've learned about this came from blogs. Bloggers doing the work that used to be the job of investigative reporters.

Not once on the radio news have I heard about his aiming to kill people on the steps of a Jewish Community Center. Thank God that through the entire rampage there was only one killed.

Now they will declare him nuts and that's it. We will hear no more.

One thing I did yesterday and will continue today is to ask people if they heard about this event. Let them know that it is considered 'road rage' and not a 'hate crime' to run over Jews (and whoever else is in the way) in America.

Those I talked to yesterday, blacks, whites, browns all agreed that it sounds like a "hate crime" to them.

I'm telling people that the liberal town of San Francisco has a mayor that considers rolling over Americans "Road Rage". That the man stated he was a terrorist and a policeman said he isn't because not all those injured were Jews. I want the same policeman to tell those that had the SUV bearing down on them that they were not feeling terror...

I'm hoping that by sharing this bit of news with people, news the MSM is not sharing, might help direct their thoughts this coming election period to the fact that terrorism is in America in a more subtle way than we know (if you want to call this subtle) and that the Liberal Progressive MSM is screening it from us.

Of course the Liberal Progressive MSM would say it is for our own good.

I'm ticked! - A descendent of Arab origins runs over people in predominantly Jewish neighborhoods and what does the MSM say???

Had this happened in a known homosexual district of San Francisco by some Texan We would hear about it. If it was a black neighborhood in L.A. or New York by a follower of Duke the news would be blaring the fact. Had it been an AmerIndian reservation by anybody they would report it...

Not one of these mentioned that it was predominatly Jewish neighborhoods. This person finally identified (no thanks to the P.D. who knew but wouldn't tell) through license plate I.D. as Omeed Popal of Fremont, CA rolled over people.

and Thank God only one died (so far). I'm sure the relatives of the one dead and those injured plus their loved ones wish it had not happened but it did.

Running a Google Search on the name Omeed Popal (no quotes - only 13 hits at this point in time!!!) - I came up with one traffic case in Turlock, CA (might be or might not be the same person. It is the same name...) - A German page of 2006 graduates from some school that was non related to anything here AND pages related to the Middle East (Afghanistan in particular)...

OK! So we have someone with a Middle Eastern background running over people in Jewish neighborhoods with an SUV and then WE HAVE - the mayor of Frisco in a long and boring press release - saying, "ROAD RAGE" was the cause!

A cousin is quoted as saying he was on meds but missed taking them...

This is not related to ''international relations'' the mayor newgate (who is proof that FRISCO is the home to fruits, flakes and nuts at least as far as voters go!) sez as an appeal to the MSM to not dig any deeeper.

PRYING1 sez: (please note the caps I placed in the prying part of my online name - I'm shouting here to ask others to do their own bit in this PRYING game. - I normally prefer being humble w/lower case/ie prying...1...)

What we may have here is the MSM covering up for a terrorist action. Note the singular! TERRORIST! This is not the first time. The shooter in Washington State was a supposed loner who targeted a Jewish 'hangout' less than two months ago! What has the MSM said about that bit of crappola recently? - LET ME HEAR YOU!!! - - (SILENCE) - What was on the news today? - Katrina one year after! - and a non-event - Hurricane/Tropical Storm Ernesto! - Nothing about a man of Middle Eastern descent between the ages of 18-45 running over American citizens in predominantly Jewish neighborhoods in San Francisco.

Not one word from these jokers on the MSM asking the obvious questions, "if this could be terrorist related." The relatives come out saying he is nuts - A cousin of the suspect, Zarghona Ramish, said Popal was a good guy, but had mental problems. - Popal "thought the devil was coming to get him," Ramish said. -

But not one word from the MSM asking the tough questions. I'm certain they don't want to offend anyone and as a result will let the tough questions go unasked. Move along! Move along! Nothing to see here!

Although if we are to believe newcomb it is not a "HATE CRIME" like it would be if it were homosexuals or blacks targeted. Not that I am in favor of any hate crime legislation but the people up there in Frisco sure are quick to dump water on the suggestion. And this before there is any opportunity to check the motives of Popal.

So What! They Are Only jews...

What we might have might be a single nutball operating on his own. OR we might have the beginnings of a new form of attacking America. Sleeper cells of one stepping out of 'character' to kill infidels then run under the cover of insanity. - And the MSM does no follow up. We are expected to keep our head in the sand...

"Kill a few jews here or there. The christian infidels won't care." After all. They didn't stop Auschwitz. Why should they stop this form of warfare? - They won't because the MSM won't reveal the truth! It was Jewish neighborhoods this fellow was in running over people!!!

I don't know if this is really terrorist related and none of us will if the powers that be sweep this under the rug. Which it seems they are intent on doing...

A man accused of running down 18 people in an alleged hit-and-run rampage in August has responded well to new medication and is competent to stand trial, a San Francisco Superior Court judge ruled today.

Omeed Aziz Popal, a 29-year-old Fremont man, smiled and offered greetings to his family for the first time in his fifth court appearance today and answered two questions asked by Judge Mary Morgan with clear affirmatives.

Deputy Public Defender Sandy Feinland said the change was due to a positive reaction to new medication. After the hearing, Feinland told reporters the new medication "relieved a lot of his symptoms," though he would not expound on Popal's condition.

Popal is charged with 18 counts of attempted murder in connection to an Aug. 29 incident in which the driver of a black Honda Pilot struck several people on sidewalks and streets in the northern end of San Francisco. Popal is awaiting trial in Alameda County for the alleged hit-and-run murder of man in Fremont earlier that day.

Morgan ordered Popal's psychological report to be filed confidentially with the court and said that criminal proceedings had been reinstated.

Inside the courtroom, Popal's family and friends occupied three rows of seats and reacted with a gasp as the judge made the announcement. They refused to comment as they left the courtroom.

Popal waived his right to a quick and speedy trial today and he is expected to return to department 12 at the Hall of Justice at 9 a.m. on Dec. 5 to set a date for pretrial hearings. Popal has not yet entered a plea.
