New Classified Documents Revealed!

This one is hot off the wire.

We thought that revelations of the classified NSA program and the SWIFT program (supposedly set up to catch terrorists) were hot news (THANKS NEW YORK TIMES AND LOS ANGELES TIMES!) but this tops them both!

We cannot say which newswire this is hot off of because reporters like to keep their sources close to the vest so to speak. In fact newsgatherers do a better job of keeping their material classified then the Federal Government does. (Having what the right wingers call 'traitorous moles' in the government helps:-)

The MSM also has a good understanding of the reasons for keeping resources hidden. Otherwise the American People would not be informed of secret programs that the current regime has prepared to enslave them. Who cares if terrorists find out about the classified programs too. The important thing is that the news gets out to protect innocents. After the Classified Information is placed on the World Wide Web some of these same innocents might get hit by shrapnel from an uncaptured terrorist. Oh well! Small price to pay as long as we have our freedoms. (place flag logo here)

Anti-Bush Enthusiasts To be Placed in Gitmo!

Guantanamo Bay will soon be empty after the Supreme Court gets finished usurping President Bush's power grabbing circle of thugs. Recent classified documents that have come into our hands discloses plans from the ubiquitous White House. An unnamed (for obvious reasons) reliable source sent the papers in a Piggly Wiggly shopping bag.

Unfortunately for our unnamed source he had left his receipt in the bag. Through it our ever unrestful team of crack reporters were able to track him down (Thanks CSI for teaching us how). Through payola and threats we are assured of having several more classified documents in our hands for years to come. Concern was shown by a now disgruntled ex-employee that our methods were simply using Whitehouse tactics against 'one of our own'. In a meeting of our editorial staff it was determined to be ethical because we decided it is for the 'good of humanity'.

The current collection of papers tells of plans to round up, "every mother's son who expresses displeasure over the way this war is being run."

One page has several plans for what to do with those collected in what was termed "The Gathering" (A sometimes religious term which seemed fitting coming from this gang of fanatical fiends).

The plans included:

Reopening Alcatraz.
Pushing them onto a deep lake in leaky canoes.
Tar and feathering.
Sending them to Mexico for an exchange program.
Sending them to Alaska as forced labor for ANWAR drilling
Sacrificing them to Hawaii's volcanoes
And!!! Circled in red: Sending them to Guantanamo once it is empty.

The classified documents included plans for putting the unused trailers from the Katrina disaster at Guantanamo once the underfed and ill treated freedom fighters are released back into the wild.

A memo that appeared to be in Vice President Cheney's handwriting said: "6 months of living in those trailers will have them ready to vote Republican. We can pump in real loud Country and Western music too!"

Another memo asked, "Should we give them copies of AlGores book if they demand them?

Scrawled across the bottom was the answer. "Let them read Bibles!"

A Prairie Apologist Speaks Out on North Korea and Kim Jong Il

Phil Dillon - Another Man's Meat had this neat little interview with himself concerning North Korea: Duck and Cover

I did a little one man Q&A a while ago, trying to make sense of it all. Here's what I've come up with so far:

Q. Is Kim Jong-il a madman?
A. Yes!

Q. Would he use nuclear or chemical weapons on South Korea, Japan, the United States, or any other enemy of the people?
A. Absolutely!

Q. Is he working the back channels with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Council of Guardians and the Assembly of Experts?
A. Yes!

Q. Do you think Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Council of Guardians, and the Council of Experts are fruitcakes?
A. Yes!

Q. Do you think they would use nuclear or chemical weapons against Israel, the United States, or any other enemy of the People?s Revolution?

Q. Do you think that Kim and Mahmoud are in cahoots?
A, Of course they are!

Q. What can we do about it?
A. Not much.

Q. What are the options?
A. They aren't pretty. We can add more sanctions and more North Koreans will starve to death. We can go to the United Nations and China will block any international effort to bring Kim to account this provocation and the daily atrocities he commits against his own population. We can take military action and the North Koreans will attack South Korea and Japan and thousands, possibly millions, will die. Or we can do nothing (the preferred option of talking heads) and wait for the inevitable attack from the two remaining points on the Axis of Evil.

Rosy scenarios, one and all, aren?t they? And Joe Biden is basically telling us to go back to sleep. Thanks Joe! And, thanks to the Democratic Party of my youth. Thanks to them, and Jimmy Carter in particular, we've now got ourselves stuck in the tar pit.

It?s all eerily reminiscent of the fifties and "duck and cover." The only thing missing is Bert the Turtle. But I suspect as this all unfolds he'll soon be coming back into fashion.

A Blog Post On Israel

AubreyJ said in a comment on a previous posing that, "I'm still waiting on you to put up a couple of posts on North Korea and Israel.

Here now is the second installment AubreyJ. I was going to put them into one post but the first half got rather long. - We'll see how the second one goes...

Before I get started on this I would like to explain a bit about the term covenant. The marriage vows we have today are the closest thing we can compare to the old time covenants. The two become one, everything they have becomes the property of the other, promises to protect care for, etc... - Becoming blood brothers is covenant making. Livingston, in going through darkest Africa, made his way through by having blood covenants with tribal chiefs as he met them. Each covenant would protect him as he traveled towards the next tribe. The ceremony might be different from place to place but each covenant maker puts their lives at the disposal of the other. Trust is paramount. Breaking the covenant was unthinkable.

Israel

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
"May those who love you be secure.
May there be peace within your walls
and security within your citadels."

We need some Muslims to read that and believe that the Living God meant it. Then they need to tell their buddies and so on. It is God's desire for peace in Jerusalem and indeed all of Israel. What stops this prayer from the book of Psalms becoming reality is that there are people in this world that refuse to believe that God did indeed give a piece of property to one man for him and his chosen descendents.

After this it gets a bit complicated. Abram had two children. One, the first son, with Hagar, his wife's servant. (Genesis 16) Sarah, does not have any children and the prospects of having any gets rather dim. She was 76 and Abram 86 when she demanded her husband, Abram try to have a child with Hagar, her handmaiden. The child would have legally been Sarah's. Remember this was prior to the 10 Commandments being given to Moses. Ishmael is born and God rejects him as the recipient of the covenant God had made with Abram (Now called Abraham)

Enough of history. It turns out today that we have two sets of Abram's/Abraham's children fighting one another. Both want to claim the promise of property God gave to Abraham. Both want to be the recipients of God's covenant with their father. Both have completely missed the true purpose of the covenant. There was a promise mixed into all of it of a better way to really know God. Not to just know ABOUT Him but to KNOW Him in a real and personal way. A promise to become God's true children related to Him in a real and tangible way.

Paul Billheimer said of this scripture that in and through Jesus Christ God the Father realizes his paternal longings.

The majority of the Jews and the Moslems have missed this. Many Christians have missed this too. Hence the fighting. "We are all God's Chillun", as the saying goes. But this is only true for those who have joined into the real Blood Covenant which was fulfilled when Jesus died and rose again.

As for today's most recent developments in the Middle East and specifically Israel and Gaza I think that it would be best for the U.S. to just back out and let the two go at it.

I believe the property Israel won in the 6 Day War was won fair and square. Israel was attacked and fought back. Their enemies lost property. Israel should have kept the property but instead gave it to a peoples government that will not be satisfied with the gift. They will never be satisfied because they are missing the only thing in life that can truly satisfy the Inner man. That is a relationship with the Creator of all that exists.

A solution to the Middle East problem? Wait for the Second Coming. - Can we do anything to hurry up the day? No, so trying to start Armageddon is foolish and will not work. Pray for Peace in Jerusalem even though it looks hopeless? Yes, because the Psalms instructs us to.

A Blog Post on North Korea

Well here is the first installment AubreyJ. I was going to put them into one post but the first half got rather long...

North Korea - This country is one of the saddest examples of man's inhumanities to man. A huge segment of the population is in slavery to a government that is more horrendous than any U.S. plantation prior to the U.S. Civil War. The rest are simply toadies. I've heard it said that if a citizen of North Korea tries to run away to the south or north to China and is captured they wrap a wire around their clavicle (easily found on any starving body) to use as a leash to bring them back to their work place. (It is not known what happened to the North Korean woman the link above tells of. The link is to show the heartlessness of the Chinese Government concerning North Korean refugees.)

The left in the U.S. has been interjecting into their anti war rhetoric for quite a while, "Why Iraq"? Why did we go after Saddam when we have dictators all over the world then they cite Iran and North Korea as examples. Part of their harangue makes it appear that they are really concerned about the peoples of Iran and North Korea when in reality it is just a smoke screen for their "Hate Bush" tirade. - They could care less about the peoples of all three countries and really just want more monies spent on social programs as opposed to the military ventures, the U.S. under Bush, has undertaken.

I'm taking book on the World Governments going after these fools that threaten neighbors, run their countries into the dirt and send uncontrollable rockets willy nilly. This will be undertaken without the criminal riddled U.N.'s approval.

The world cannot afford to have these crazies getting their hands on weapons that indiscriminately kill civilians because they could and will be used against any country's civilians that is within reach. This messes up economies and ruins the tax bases. Not to mention some countries have leaders that really do care about human lives. (U.S. included despite what the loony left says.)

As soon as the good guys do go after the heartless dictators the "Progressives" will howl with anger and show they begrudge freedom for the peoples of each nation for their own self centered social welfare funds. - - - Pitiful group of humans the "Progressive Liberals" are composed of. - - - Fortunately they do not speak for the majority of those in the U.S. regardless the polls the left continually takes. Europe (especially France) is another matter.

I wish it would be sooner rather than later that the leaders and the armies of toadies of these counties are taken out. Real people are suffering in North Korea and Iran too. Many Iranians in the U.S. are looking forward to our ousting the current Iranian government. Not many North Koreans are in the U.S. to look forward to the ousting of Kim Jung Il. See previous note about the wires. When the time comes for booting the North Korean dictator I certainly hope China will stay out of the way. If China interferes with setting the North Korean peoples free it certainly will cause more unnecessary deaths in a country that has already seen too much suffering at the hands of a socialistic/communistic government.

I hereby challenge any lefty to tell the world that socialism/communism is a good thing. Don't tell me that this example is not the one to use. This is ultimately the extreme that socialism runs all of mankind down to. If socialism were allowed to run rampant through the world then man's inhumanities would run rampant too...

Why Socialism?

I'm at a loss as to why those on the left think socialism is the way to go.

If an armed man went into a socialist's house and demanded, ummmm, say all the appliances in the house. Told the socialist owner of the appliances that they were to go to a 'needy' family down the street. Would the socialist really be proud and joyful that they can contribute to the needs of others?

I doubt it. They are going to be ticked off that their appliances are stolen from them no matter the reason.

The same premise holds true for taxes. The socialists in this country want higher taxes to help with the social welfare programs. This is tantamount to having an armed man come into a persons home and stealing their property.

The conservatives are called all kinds of mean and nasty names and spat upon because they don't care about the needs of the poor. Wrong. Conservatives prefer a different way of handling the problem. The old 'teach a man to fish' solution.

Help lift the poor up instead of keeping them held to a below poverty level which is what social welfare programs do.

I try to run through my blog roll every day. Don't always get to do it but mosts days I hit the majority of them. I have yet to delete any blogs from my blogroll but I did recently take down a long list of names that were from "Hugh Hewitt inspired blogs". The reason being that quite a few were dead links or had not been updated in over a year... I tried contacting the originator of the list but was met with zero help. So it goes. - This made my sidebar a bit emptier but now it is easier to check my blogroll. -

Even if that were not clear enough, the Constitution confers the role of Commander in Chief for the President and requires the Senate's approval for treaty ratification both of which have been appropriated in this case. So Con Law professors, what is the check against judicial imbalance?

Ted Richardson has a piece entitled "If Someone Promises to Fix Your Credit - Proceed with Caution!" - Whether it be on a telephone pole, classified advertisement, or a spam e-mail, we all see "advertising lures" that promise to repair people's bad credit. Many of them are bogus - and the sad fact is - they target people, who are already "needy" and take more of their money. -

Senor Peer Pressure of Huffington Compost has a great posting, Praise Korea, Bash The U.S., about the HuffPo's coverage of the North Korean missle launches vs. the Shuttle launch. - It really shows the anger and hatred of the "progressive Liberals" for all things America and George Bush. Laptop Found! Data On Veterans Not Accessed!

I found this story sort of late and had not seen or heard this bit of news till today. - It hit the street on 29Jun06 - So I figure there might be others like me that missed it.

As a veteran I'm not sure if any info with my name attached was on the dang thing but it did make me feel a bit uneasy...

Wavy.com has this on the stolen laptop that contained data on up to 26.5 million veterans and military personnel.

WASHINGTON (AP) --The government has recovered the stolen laptop computer and hard drive with sensitive data on up to 26.5 million veterans and military personnel. The FBI said Thursday there is no evidence that anyone accessed Social Security numbers and other data on the equipment.

The FBI, in a statement from its Baltimore field office, said a preliminary review of the equipment by its computer forensic teams "has determined that the data base remains intact and has not been accessed since it was stolen." More tests were planned, however.

...the laptop and hard drive were turned in Wednesday (Jun 28, 2006) to the FBI by an unidentified person in response to the $50,000 reward offer. No suspects were in custody

prying1 sez: This shows that security needs to be beefed up and more care needs to be taken by those with access to data that could ruin peoples happiness, joy, and sanity. - Not to mention pocketbooks. This laptop was just a drop in the bucket of personal information that is stolen and abused. - I suggest people keep up on what the bad guys are up to by visiting Fraud, Phishing and Financial Misdeeds at least weekly if not daily! -

RadioBlogger Pulls All the Stops out!

Headlined, "It's not what you say that defines if you are good or bad, it's what you do." RadioBlogger goes after Bill Keller of New York Times fame. You know. The paper that does not care if what they print causes grievous bodily harm to people.

Concerning the NYT and LAT revelations of the NSA foreign surveillance program Duane shows why Keller knew what he was doing was wrong.

But while all this controversy is swirling around the judgment of Keller and the New York Times, you'd think if there was a close call on something involving the Bush administration, he's error on the side of caution, at least until this current debacle blows over, right?

Exactly a week after they release a classified government program, in which the Justice Department ought to be considering prosecution over, Keller puts a story in this last Friday that makes one's jaw drop. Keller ran a story about the second homes of Vice President Dick Cheney and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. And not just a story about them, but where they are, including pictures. I'm not kidding. It's like a jihadist map to the stars' homes.

prying1 sez: This joker, Bill Keller, is being defended by the tin foil hat lefties which only goes to show that the "Hate Bush" crappola has gone so deep into their hearts that they may not ever be able to return to being Americans again. I think they may be permanently brain damaged. Can they honestly believe that this will not have a negative effect on the war against terrorism?

Oh, that's right. They call It "Bush's War" and because they don't like some classified information remaining classified they have every right to reveal it.

It's for our own good they tell us. - They know better than the Pentagon what is really going on because they read, "Alternative News Sites".

An Inconvenient Fact about "An Inconvenient Truth"!

Once again all I had to do is take my common sense and sit for a while. I knew that AlGore's movie was bunk even before Bill Clinton came along and started hyping it. Is Bill gettin' commissions from box office sales? Whhoooowee! Will that make him a bundle! At least an extra 10 bucks a week... Just enuff to take his gurlfiend out to the picture show. That is if she opens the back door for him to sneak in and she buys the popcorn.

Anyway. I thought to post a blog on AlGore's incontinent Unconventional Unreliable Supposed Truth Movie long before now but said to myself, "Self! Just wait. Someone will come along and distill the whole thing into easily understandable sentences that even 'Progressive' liberals will understand. Then just link to his site (his/her site for the PC crowd)."

I Hate Buried Comments!!!

Sometimes I come across a blog post that deserves an answer. Then when I comment it gets lost in the deep, forgotten, underworld of blogging, "The Comments" of a never read again post.

Well I type with four fingers and sometimes a thumb. Plus I proof read most everything (sometimes successfully - Spell check caught a couple in this cut and paste). All of this adds to the time factor. At times I can agonize for the right word to make my point. I hate to see all that buried forever and ever and ever until the Internet is no more. (See Wikipedia - End of Eternity)

Not to mention that ParaTed2k says he likes my writing and thinking. Quote from his comment on one of my posts: "excellent writing and you make some great points." (Got him fooled at least. Shhhh...-(;-)

Setup: Citizen Against Lies posted "Supreme Court: Bush WAY Exceeded Powers" in which the blogger came up with the usual "Hate Bush" diatribe that did not offer any solutions and in effect gave aid and comfort to people that want to rip off the head of anyone including their own mothers if it serves their purpose. (This includes you and I dear reader)

With 3 Contributors to this blog (Shelly L., John P. & Mare) we have for this post Shelly L, writer, with Mare commenting - Ohhh! What a wonderful thing it is for the Supreme Court to give Geneva Convention signing status to merciless thugs with no uniform or country's army status behind them. (See ParaTed2k's post on that) Much of the typical "Hate Bush" blindness that so many progressives have these days.

My comment follows:

Even if this was "Bush's War" I don't understand why you are against it. This is a war of GOOD PEOPLE against terrorism that should have started when the Twin Towers were first attacked. You remember that event or perhaps you were not born yet...

- These murderous (Remember Nick Berg) offspring of pigs would slit your throat as soon as listen to your drivel. Good luck to you and yours if you win and you help the U.S. and it's allies loose this war against Islamofacism...

Just imagine your favorite ladies wearing burkas

Perhaps they will kill you quickly and not muck it up like they did with Nick Berg!

She: "You're asking the wrong per..."

He: "Nevermind. I'll get it." (Quickly cutting and pasting potentially mis-spelled word into a Google page) - "You know what I do when I'm not sure of a spelling?"

She: "You've told me so many times dear."

He: (Remembering he has done so...)

She: "Not that I remember."

We both laughed. It was so typical...

One Senator Short on Flag Burning Amendment

The Supreme Court, in 1989, decided that flag-burning is protected by the First Amendment. They declared in their decision it is a free speech issue. This took the issue out of the hands of states (and citizens of said states) and made it a federal issue that could only be trumped with a constitutional amendment. States were left with using local laws about starting a fire without a permit or anti-mischief laws to prosecute flag burning.

Yesterday (27Jun06)the senate voted 66-to-34 which was one vote short of the 67 required to send it to the states for potential ratification as the 28th Amendment.

Those who voted against it do not trust the people of the United States to make the decision they (the senators) wanted. "Protecting the peoples free speech", they say. On the other hand they did not protect the peoples right to make decisions as a nation of states. They worked against that...

Concerning Flag Burning and free speech I say the following:

When bystanders see the flag burned what exactly does it tell them? Doesn't speech convey specific information, thoughts and ideas? What specific speech is conveyed through a piece of cloth burning?

It has nothing to do with "speech". It is an "action" we are really talking about not speech. I consider it to be speech when a soapbox is dragged out, someone climbs upon it and starts speaking. Even if they have a disability and must use posters and sign language. Ideas are put forth.

As a form of protest flag burning is below the bottom rung of telling people what you believe. That is because it is not speech and says nothing specific.

Had this passed it would have gone to the states to ratify it. The states would then let it's citizens decide on a state by state basis. When enough states said yes or no then it would go forward or stop.

So why didn't the powers that be allow the people to decide? There is where our free speech is being suppressed.

Left Wing Moonbats are not Worth the Resources

In traveling about the blogosphere I have come across a few blogs that put forth the idea that the recently exposed "Swift" terrorist's financial surveillance program (Thanks NYT & LAT) is all about our government capturing people that disagree with the Bush White House.

They will disagree with the above statement but that is what it comes down to. They will say I'm being deceived by the Bush White House and that he is after me too. It is for my own protection that this program was exposed. If only I understood but I'm too small minded and am a pawn in the conservative hierarchy's plan to rule the world...

- I recently left the following as a comment on Okie on the LAM - Thought it needed to see daylight so I'm posting it here too.

What gets me is the lefties seem to think that these programs are all about them and their privacy. As if these jokers have enough money in the bank to warrant being in the 'Swift Database". Same thing with the phone numbers.

The lefties seem to think that the surveillance is against lefties. Insignificant slugs that they be. - They need to be reminded that they are not worth the bitspace or bandwidth much less the manpower involved with these programs.

These programs were set up and utilized to capture bad guys. Although lefties have diminished brainspace and can be irritating at times this does not come anywhere near the interest level that the terrorists demand and receive from our government.

Is It getting Closer To the TimeFor Murtha to apologize?

Apparently more news is coming out concerning the Haditha incident.

How different is that from what Murtha said? American Thinker carefully qualified the statements in the paragraph while by all accounts I've seen Murtha had made a statement of fact in saying that the Marines were guilty of killing the civilians in "cold blood."

Rightwing Nuthouse has this: While it is not unusual for small details to be lost or found in different translations, these discrepancies are huge, up to and including one 12 year old girl (or 13 or 15 depending on which report you are reading) being in different houses, being shielded from the wrath of the Americans by 3 different family members, and telling completely different and ever more bloodcurdling details of how the Marines killed her family.

Then there is the weird case of Aws Fahmi. In an AP report, he is reported to have been a victim of the massacre, left to bleed in the street after being shot by the Americans. But the Washington Post story in which several eyewitnesses are interviewed, features Mr. Fahmi's testimony prominently and in which the "victim" has morphed into an eyewitness, viewing the events from his house with no mention of his being shot and left to bleed to death in the street.

The NewsMax story says: Video evidence supports the Marines' claims. Within a very few minutes, battalion, regimental, and division headquarters were able to watch the action thanks to an overhead ultralight aircraft that remained aloft all day. Photos of some of the action were downloaded and in the hands of Marines and the NCIS.

I did not read anywhere that anyone reporting this had actually seen the video. There is however a growing basket of evidence that all did not happen as Murtha said.

This post is to remind those interested, both on the right and on the left that all of the reports and investigations have not been released or finished yet. Rumors should be checked with assorted sources before running with it. Make sure that all the sources of said rumor are not from the one and only Single Feeder source
It will bode well for Bloggers of all stripes to be patient and wait a bit longer.

Okie on the Lam and the Los Angeles Times

Once again I'm taking the easy way out and sending my readers toodling off to another site. Okie on the Lam has an excellent post entitled Deaths in Iraq, Financial Data Tracking, Global Warming and Killing Your Friend - Gotta Love the LA Times! -


The L.A. Times has gotten even worse over the years. Right thinking people know that it will poison parrots, cockatiel & parakeets with liberalism so it is no longer useful even as a bird cage liner. Wrapping fish in it will flavor of the fish with a nasty taste.

prying1 here. I had to wonder when I saw the headline yesterday how many of those 50,000 dead were murderous thugs. The world is a better place with Saddam gone and these terrorists being put away...

Global Warming: In the global warming scare story the subhead was: "The massive glaciers are deteriorating twice as fast as they were five years ago. If the ice thaws entirely, sea level would rise 21 feet."

Yeah? Wonder what the real chance of that happening would be? They don't answer that question. Indeed, scientists can measure what appears to be a current phenomena, but without going back literally millions of years, they can't put this information into any meaningful perspective. And, what I keep reading and hearing from the global warming fanatics is that global warming will most likely bring on the next "Little Ice Age". But hey, it does make great copy, and we all love a good scare now and then. Remember in the 70's when the scientists were all predicting the coming of the next Ice Age? So, what's it gonna be guys, global warming or global cooling? Warming or cooling, warming or cooling - kinda cyclic, don't ya think?

OK, I've found myself in deep yogurt before in questioning someone's Christianity, but come on, "who said it wasn't OK"? Uh - "Thou shall not [commit murder] kill." That sounds reasonably familiar. God sanctions the killing of murderers and killing on the battlefield for a just cause, but I don't think I have ever come across the part where he tells us to kill those that we love, for any reason.

Missile & Weather In North Korea Ready For Launch

A lot of discussion on the possible missile launch in/from North Korea. (CNN link hat tip to AubreyJ.org) Should it be taken out on the pad, knocked out of the sky or just ignored?

Just A Thought...orWhy Wear Hazmat Suits For Degraded Weapons?

I wonder if the Bush Haters that say the WMD's found in Iraq are degraded would prove it to us by licking one of the bombs? Would any "progressive" crack one open, place one hand in it and then eat supper without washing beforehand? Would any Michael Moore fan use one as a door stop?

Wait a second. Most of them would.

In digging a little deeper I came across a wacky looser lefty site that had a link to another whimsical "progressive" news site that had a link to this site:

Here is the layout: Spring Valley, Washington D.C. U.S.A. - During World War I, the Spring Valley area was used for the development and testing of chemical weapons.

Mustard, lewisite, cyanogen chloride, adamsite, phosgene, and other toxic agents were scattered liberally about the area. Bombs with this stuff in it were exploded to check the effects on goats and dogs that were staked nearby.

Years later the neighborhood became a residential development.

Then on Jan 5, 1993 (Under The first Bush's Presidency) a backhoe uncovered some 'live' munitions and apparently some of these contained mustard agent from WWI. Hazmat teams have scoured the area since. They check old aerial photographs to show clues as to where these weapons and nerve agents might be buried.

What would be the reaction of the radical left if terrorists had gotten hold of just a few of the 500 WMD's found in Iraq. What if Saddam had given some to his buddies?

Imagine we had not ousted Saddam. He would still have this stuff. If a couple of serin or mustard bombs had found their way out of Iraq, onto a freighter and finally up the Mississippi to Saint Louis would the liberals be happy because they could and would blame Bush? They would have screamed bloody murder blaming Bush for not attacking Iraq.

The left has no plan. You can look to the Democratic Senate for proof.

Can we afford to let these nutters run the country? Not as long as there are still bloody terrorists that torture and mutilate for their cause...

It's my impression that this is a very dangerous situation in Iraq, with the number of chemical weapons still believed to exist out there, and the threat that they might in fact get into the wrong hands. So Saddam, it is clear, from this report, had lots of chemical weapons around, and that people got their hands on them. So this is exactly what we were concerned about, that Saddam in fact had large stockpiles of chemical weapons, and would in fact...those chemical weapons could in fact get into the hands of people who would like to do harm to America.

HH: Now Senator, is it your impression that the classified nature of this material is in place in order to protect the information that might assist insurgents from finding additional stockpiles? Is that...

RS: There's certainly...that is clearly an element, and there are certainly parts of this report that were not released that should not be released. And that would certainly be one element of it. But there are other elements that I think can be released that could shed more light as to the volume of the problem that we're confronting, or that we confronted in the sense that how many chemical weapons did Saddam Hussein have prior to the Gulf War, the second Gulf War.

prying1 sez: Now is the time for the progressives/liberals to come out and say this is a plot by the Bush Administration to fool/lie to us again. (Message to progressives/liberals: We are not dealing with Dan Rather!) Those in their right minds can ignore them.

These weapons are from pre 1991. Sanctions were effective in keeping Saddam from producing new weapons but were not effective in forcing him to give up the old ones.
This shows once again that Saddam was not cooperating with the U.N. who had their own reasons for not wanting him ousted. The U.N. would still be ineffective at finding this stuff. This is all the more reason for not turning Iraq over to the U.N. as some have suggested we do.

There are those in the United States who feel having socialists in power in Washington D.C. is more important than the safety of our nation and the lives of the people of Iraq. They are calling for the U.S. to "Cut and Run". Then they whine and complain when the right calls them on it. Today I heard a piece where Jane Harman D-CA tried to change the line to "Cut and Win". Just like they changed their label from 'liberal' to 'progressive'. Changing the word will not make it something else.

We cannot afford to placate these people in any way. All they deserve is ridicule and scorn! And to be voted out of office.

McComb Speech Shows Idiocy of ACLU and Public Schools

The decision to cut short (Brittany) McComb's commencement speech Thursday at The Orleans drew jeers from the nearly 400 graduates and their families that went on for several minutes.

At least the students knew cutting off the mic was wrong. They did not teach that out of them!

However, Clark County School District officials and an attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union said Friday that cutting McComb's mic was the right call.

Because they say it is does not make it so!

Graduation ceremonies are school-sponsored events, a stance supported by federal court rulings, and as such may include religious references but not proselytizing, they said.

And who decides which is which?

They said (Brittany) McComb's speech amounted to proselytizing and that her commentary could have been perceived as school-sponsored.

Was the ACLU afraid that the Spirit of God was going to fall and everyone was going to jump up yammering in other tongues?

Before she delivered her commencement speech, (Brittany) McComb met with Foothill administrators, who edited her remarks.

So who's speech is it then?

It's standard district practice to have graduation speeches vetted before they are read publicly.

This is a good idea in case a valedictorian decides to use cursing and swearing in their speech. As if they would.

prying1 sez: This is typical of the left in America. What gets me is many of the 'free speech advocate' leftist bloggers think it was the right thing to do.

If you use Yahoo email and receive one from av3@yahoo.com - DO NOT OPEN IT! - - Simply delete the email! - Opening it will allow a JavaScript program to spread though other Yahoo email addresses in the users address book. Don't do that to your friends!

To block the address (Options/mail options/spam/block addresses) and enter av3@yahoo.com into the add block space.

Mass-mail worms have usually been contained in an attachment with an e-mail note encouraging a user to open it.

When activated, the worms then sends itself to other users in the victim's address book who also use Yahoo e-mail with the suffixes of @yahoo.com or @yahoogroups.com. The worm mimics a function within Yahoo's Web mail called "Quickbuilder," which allows a user to add contacts in an address book from received e-mail, Hogan said. The process, however, is transparent to the victim, he said.

The harvested e-mail addresses are sent to a remote server. Users of Yahoo Mail Beta do not appear to be affected, Symantec said.

The worm also opens a browser that displays a Web page that does not appear to contain malicious content.

Although Yahoo's Web e-mail has not been fixed, users are advised to update virus and firewall definitions and block any e-mail sent from av3@yahoo.com. The subject line of the e-mail with the worm says "New Graphic Site," and the body says "this is test."

2 U.S. Soldiers Found Dead

Reuters is reporting from Bagdad Although not officially confirmed until next of kin are informed Iraqi Defense Ministry official Major General Abdul Aziz Mohammed told Reuters the bodies of Privates Thomas Lowell Tucker, 25, and Kristian Menchaca, 23, were found by a joint U.S.-Iraqi force on Monday near an electricity plant in Yusufiya, the area in which they were abducted on Friday.

Senator John Kerry Admits He's a Dummy

Pretty funny article by Jim Kouri -

During the recent "Take Back America" jamboree...Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY), received a less than cordial reception by the crowd of antiwar, Bush-hating Dems, so perhaps Kerry felt it safer to admit his stupidity than face the heckling and boos accorded Clinton.

Kerry never actually told the crowd he was a dummy, but look at the facts as he's presenting them: Senator Kerry -- the intellectual giant -- was conned by a man he called an idiot into sending 150,000 youngsters into battle. That doesn't say much for Kerry, now does it? Not too swift for a man who wanted -- and still wants -- to be President of the United States.

Actually, to be fair, it seems the majority of Democrats have admitted they are easily duped stooges and numbskulls. They did it when they claimed the Republicans "stole" the 2000 election from another intellectual giant, Al Gore. Yes, indeed they won the election but they were robbed by a man whom Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) said was stupid.

2 U.S. soldiers missing in Iraq after attack

Don't know if this has been confirmed or not. So much news comes out from Iraq and is later proven to be false. - I pray this is not true but thought it best to put it out there so people that pray can do so for these men.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - The U.S. military says two soldiers are missing after their team came under attack at a traffic control point in Yusafiyah, Iraq Friday night, that left one other coalition soldier dead.

A military spokesman told FOXNews after hearing small arms fire and explosions in the vicinity, a quick reaction force responded to the scene. Coalition forces have initiated a search operation to locate and determine the status of the soldiers. They are currently listed as "duty status unknown." No other details have been released.

Update: Apparently true - Chicago Tribune has the story. No Nmaes released as of yet. - Continus praying for their safety and confusion in the ranks of the enemy.

The last paragraph of the Tribune article shows how the enemy can easily sow disinformation that makes the good guys appear to be evil. " "What security plan are they talking about?" said Hussein Kadhum, 21, who was visiting the shrine Saturday. "The whole area is cordoned, and the police and army are everywhere and are searching everybody. So who can bring explosives inside this area unless there are people with the security forces cooperating with him?"

Iraq IS on the Road to Running Their Own Country!

Senator James Inhofe had an interview with Hugh Hewitt last Tuesday Thanks to Radioblogger for the following transcript.

Run up: Abdel Jassim is the NEW Iraqi Minister of Defense and Senator Inhofe had told Hugh the Minister stated, "I hate CNN!"

HH: I'm talking with Senator James Inhofe of Oklahoma, just returned again from his 11th visit to Iraq, just today, I imagine. Senator, I just want to pause on the defense minister of Iraq's reaction to CNN. I hate CNN. Did he tell you why he hates CNN?

JI: Oh, he said all they do is talk about negative things, things that are bad, and we have nothing but successes over here. And then he start enumerating the successes, which I can verify, because I'm there all the time. The number, out of 112 battalions, they have 62 of them. That's over half of them that are either level 2 or level 1. That means they can conduct their own combat. He made the statement, and this is one of the things that he says that CNN and some of the media keeps saying, they keep saying that America is leading them, and we're in the rear. And he said that's not true at all. We are leading, and America is offering support. In fact, of the last 500 special operations that took place, 75% of them were led by the Iraqis, not by the Americans. Only 25% were. Now if you go back, as I've done on almost a monthly basis, you can see how this changes. And a year ago, hardly any of them were led by the Iraqis. These guys...I was up in Fallujah during the last election, and they were so proud. They were going down there to vote, and they were targeted, because they were supposed to shoot any of the Iraqi security forces that voted. And they went down, they voted, and they came back, and they were real proud of it. And then, when I asked them the question, are you going to be able to take over the security of Iraq...it's kind of funny, because of the language problem, they said nein, nein. I thought that meant no, no, but that really means yes, yes.

HH: Oh, okay.

JI: So those guys are excited, and they're proud, and you talk to any of the...I challenge any of your listeners to talk to any of our reservists, or the Guard that comes back, and they'll tell you that these guys are learning fast, they're good soldiers, they're disciplined, and they're looking...well, in fact, Dr. Rubai, the guy that you need to watch, too, the national security advisor, he said that by the end of the year, he's going to recommend that the coalition forces cut down to 100,000. That's going to be a military decision, but this is an Iraqi saying that.

HH: Let me ask you about the allegations about death squads, especially from the minister of interior, going out and cutting down Sunnis, and then the reprisal killings. How big a problem, the sectarian violence?

JI: Yeah, I don't think it's happening. It's funny, you hear about these little conspiracies, and these things that are going on, and when you're over there, you don't see it. Now I'll have to say this, the one minister I didn't talk to was al-Balani, and he's the minister of interior. So I don't have a first hand handle on that.

HH: What about the reports you've received on the Haditha incident?

JI: Well, this is kind of interesting. As the more we look into it, and I'm not really the one looking into it, the more that comes out, are misrepresentations of things that may have happened a year ago, or happened six months ago, and they kind of put them all together in this one area, Haditha. Now another interesting thing that was said by Abdel Jassim, he said Haditha is a bigger story back in the United States than it is here. I asked him about it, and he said oh, it's not a big story here. And that's one thing that I think we need to know over here. We keep conjuring these things up as if they're big stories, but they're not over there. You want to know another one that isn't, Mr. Hewitt?

HH: Yes.

JI: All this thing about reconciliation that the Democrats talk about, oh, they're going to have to reconciliate between the Sunnis and the Shiias, and all that, well, the defense minister said that that is another American issue, that the reconciliation has already taking place, and we are Iraqis first. Now I didn't believe that, and so I stopped at...some...it's kind of a monument they have to the unknown soldier, and there were 9 honor guard people, very sharp soldiers standing there, and through an interpreter, I asked the guy that was leading that group, I asked him the question about the Shiias and the Sunnis. He said no, that's not...I'm a Sunni, my wife is a Shiia, and I can't tell you...I've spent the last nine days with these eight guys. I don't know which one is a Shiia, and which one's a Sunni. We're all Iraqis. And again, he claims that's an American issue, and I believe it is.

- It appears from what Senator Inhofe says that while all is not 100% well in Iraq things have moved along better than we know.

- I'm waiting for the day when the U.S. starts pulling out troops and the 'progressive' liberal socialists start shouting, "At last Bush is taking our advice! He is forced to listen to us! We were right!"

Sorry foil hat crowd. He is still following the plan you refused to believe in (much less admit existed) and it is working!!!

And why is it when the label 'liberal' gets bad connotations that these rectal apertures start calling themselves 'progressives'? Do they think they are fooling anybody?

The Mexican Election and Sweeping for Illegals

A couple news items I read today placed together for comparison.

Operation Return to Sender - 2,179 arrests of Illegal aliens. Some are child molesters, violent gang members and past deportees who re-entered the country illegally. A quick run through the Google News hits with the words 'Operation Return to Sender' we can see 150 from New England (5 from Danbury, CT), 75/Chicago, 39/El Paso, 116/New Jersey, 47/Orange County, CA and apparently all parts of the country were hit.

Homeland Security says roughly half had criminal records for crimes that ranged from sexual assault of a minor (Around 146 perverts) to assault with a deadly weapon, to abduction. 367 of the arrested aliens were members or associates of violent street gangs. 640 of those arrested were fugitive aliens who had been issued final orders of removal by an immigration judge but failed to comply.

Those arrested in the operation came from nations around the globe, including Angola, Bangladesh, Brazil, Cape Verde, China, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Egypt, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Iraq, Italy, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Kenya, Liberia, Libya, Mexico, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Senegal, Thailand, Uganda, United Kingdom and Uzbekistan.


This operation began 26MAY06 and ended Tuesday 13June06. No indication when the next sweep will be. Perhaps after several have returned and the number of illegal criminals has refreshed above the 2179 arrested.

DEBATING U.S. IMMIGRATION POLICY - IN MEXICO ~ Alan Wall reports (Italics are Alan's words - Bold is the Candidates): On June 6th, 2006, there was a presidential debate in Mexico. Five candidates were in the debate, and they were given five topics to discuss.

One of the topics was "Migratory Foreign Policy"

The "migratory" part refers to U.S. immigration policy, not Mexican immigration policy!

(only 2 of the candidate's promises follow - There is more in the link above)

Calderon made three immigration promises:

"First, that all the money collected in the Mexican consulates in the United States stay there to help our 'paisanos'." Translation - more meddling by Mexican consulates.

"Second, I am going to promote a migratory accord with the United States so that those who are there and have been there five or six years can have legal residence."

Sounds like what President Bush wants. (the rattling sound is prying1 shaking his head yes)

"Third, Whoever wants to go and work for a period of months or seasons each year, will do it legally and with papers."

Calderon is calling for the U.S. and Canada to finance development in poor regions of Mexico. There might be some merit to that idea, but why should we pay for that if we're simultaneously allowing mass immigration from Mexico?

AMLO - Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (known by his initials AMLO) - AMLO promised a no-meddling foreign policy:

"We are going to be careful not to meddle in the internal life of other countries
and other governments, because we are not going to permit that they meddle in affairs that are only the business of Mexicans."

That sounds good. But you have to understand that when AMLO says he won'’t meddle in the affairs of other countries, that rule doesn'’t apply to meddling in U.S. immigration policy.

Lopez Obrador said that, "the principal subject of the bilateral agenda with the Untied States has to be the migratory issue."

Nowadays, that would be true of any Mexican government, of whatever party.

AMLO continues,

"We are going to convince the members of the American government, and the Canadian government, that the best relationship between a strong economy and a weak economy is cooperation."

He wants to make a NAFTA accord that will help Mexico in "the growth of the economy in our country and to create jobs."

AMLO's proposal is actually quite similar to that of Calderon (see above). He wants the U.S. and Canada to finance Mexican development.

But, AMLO doesn'’t want us controlling our immigration policy:

"We have to convince them, persuade them that nothing will be resolved with walls, with raids, with the militarization of the border, with heavy-handed threats."

prying1 sez: We (the U.S. and Poor Mexican Peasants) are screwed! - Unless we can wake up the U.S. Senate and Congress to the fact that we currently have enough "guest workers" and that border security comes first the Poor Mexicans will have a government that has no incentive to change. Please note that no mention was made in the first story of terrorists captured.

Religious Right is Misrepresented concerning STD/HPV Vacines!

Some disinformation is being spread by the anti James Dobson crowd. - Here is the skinny: Alternet.org has a story entitled, "Why the Religious Right Fights Cancer Prevention" (dated 13Jun06). When I read that my heart sunk. "Who on the religious right would do that?" was my question.

Alternet Quotes: Conservative groups have caused an uproar by opposing a vaccine for the second-deadliest cancer for women. - and - The Food and Drug Administration advisory panel approved a vaccine for the human papilloma virus (HPV) last week. The vaccine appears to be 100 percent effective at protecting against the most prevalent viruses that cause cervical cancer. While public health professionals view the vaccine as miraculous, many conservative organizations oppose it on the grounds that it might encourage promiscuity among adolescent girls. Now that the FDA has approved the vaccine, conservatives are already working feverishly to limit or even prevent its use. - end quotes -

Well, the Alternet article mentioned Family Research Council and also had a link to (Caution! Typical leftist profanity (f word) in the title of this link) a Feministing article who names a Dr. Finger and Focus on the Family.

Feministing Quote: He (Dr. Finger, a liaison between the CDC and Focus on the Family) has also said that if "people begin to market the [HPV] vaccine or tout the vaccine that this makes adolescent sex safer, then that would undermine the abstinence-only message." For the record, Finger would also be wary of approving an HIV vaccine, should one become available. - end quote -

Well I figured I'd go to the source and see what both organizations really say about Sexually Transmitted Disease vaccines.

Recognizing the worldwide detriment to individuals and families resulting from HPV, Focus on the Family supports and encourages the development of safe, effective and ethical vaccines against HPV, as well as other viruses. The use of these vaccines may prevent many cases of cervical cancer, thus saving the lives of millions of women across the globe.

Therefore, Focus on the Family supports widespread (universal) availability of HPV vaccines but opposes mandatory HPV vaccinations for entry to public school. The decision of whether to vaccinate a minor against this or other sexually transmitted infections should remain with the childÂ’s parent or guardian.

The Family Research Council welcomes the news that vaccines are in development for preventing infection with certain strains of the human papilloma virus (HPV). We also welcome the reports, like those we've heard this morning, of promising clinical trials for such a vaccine. Forms of primary prevention and medical advances in this area hold potential for helping to protect the health of millions of Americans and helping to preserve the lives of thousands of American women who currently die of cervical cancer each year as a result of HPV infection. Media reports suggesting that the Family Research Council opposes all development or distribution of such vaccines are false.

The Eternal Atheist Jokes

Not to be outdone by Christians atheists have opened a brand new dial-a-prayer service.

Dial the number and nobody answers.

A young lad who's parents were atheists upset them recently by asking them, "Do you think God knows we don't believe in Him?

An atheist was fixing his house when he smacked his thumb real hard with a hammer.

"Jesus Christ!" he shouted.

Suddenly, in seconds, clouds blew overhead darkening the sky. The atmosphere seemed to thicken making it difficult to breath. An electric snap seemed to be in the very air around him and a gentle voice said, "Don't blame me. I wasn't holding the hammer."

A local Catholic priest and a Presbyterian pastor were fishing by the side of the road. They thoughtfully made a sign saying, "The End is Near! Turn around before it's too late!" and set it up so passing cars could see it.

A couple of cars stopped and the occupants chatted with the religious men. Both felt moved by the conversation, believed the holy men of God, turned around and went back the way they had come.

An atheist driving along quickly read the sign and shouted at them, "You religious nuts are all full of crap!", as he sped past.

A few moments later the priest and the pastor heard a big splash.

They looked at each other and the priest said to the pastor, "Perhaps we should have just written 'Bridge Out' instead?"

Two atheists were talking and one said, "I'll prove there is no God. If there is a God there must be a devil and I adjure him to come and take me to hell!"

Suddenly, a puff of smoke, and a repulsive demonic figure smelling of sulfur appeared and dragged the man kicking and screaming away into another puff of smoke. Both instantly disappeared.

The second atheist said, "Hmmm... Perhaps it would have been smarter to try having God to take him to heaven first."

There was a Christian lady who lived in an apartment next to an atheist. Everyday the lady prayed loudly enough that the atheist could hear her through the thin walls. The atheist thought, "She sure is crazy, praying all the time like that. Doesn't she know there is no God?"

One day, she ran out of groceries. As usual, she was praying to the Lord explaining her situation and thanking Him for what He was going to do. The atheist heard her praying and thought to himself. "Well I'll teach her a lesson!"

He zipped to the grocery store, bought a bunch of groceries, took them to her door, rang the door bell and then hid around the corner to see her reaction.

She opened the door, saw the groceries and began to praise the Lord with all her might. Jumping, singing and shouting "Hallelujah!"

The atheist then came out and told her, "You're nutty lady! God didn't buy you that stuff. I bought those groceries!"

Well, she broke out and started shouting and praising the Lord even louder.

When she finally quieted a bit he asked if she misunderstood what he had told her.

She said, "I knew the Lord would provide me with some groceries, but I didn't know He was going to have an atheist pay for them!"
