People in the U.S. supporting Terrorists

In case you've missed the news recently: One of the few democratic nations in the Middle East recently got tired of being attacked by terrorists and decided to do something about it. Israel is fighting a group of terrorists. If Israel were truly attacking Lebanon the whole country would be denuded by now. Some people have gotten upset as a result of Israel's protecting themselves. They want the victim in this news story, that is Israel, to sit down, admit they are the aggressors, shut up and keep taking hits from terrorists.

Listening to talk radio recently has become a real treat. People call in condemning Israel and claiming victimhood for a bonafide terrorist organization called Hezbollah.
When asked by the rightwing talkshow hosts, "Do you support Hezbollah?" callers will start blubbering about how many innocent Lebanese have been killed. Called back to the question by the host they then complain that Israel is using indiscriminate and excessive use of force against innocent civilians. Called back to the question they will cry about the plight of the poor pitiful Palestinians. Called back to the question they will snivel about Israel's over-reacting. When called back to the question they will talk about a proportional response.

Some have said that Hezbollah is not a terrorist organization. They must ignore history in order to say that because Hezbollah bombed the U.S. Marine barracks and the U.S. Embassy in Beirut.

It seems that very few of the callers on talk radio that want Israel to stop beating up on the terrorists will own up that they support the Terrorist organization Hezbollah. Very rarely is America treated to a real expose of liberals.

prying1 sez:
Idiots! Every one of them! Are they really so ignorant and blinded (most likely by "Bush Hatred") that they cannot see standing that their against Israel in this battle is to stand by a group of terrorists. As Bob Dillon sang during his Christian phase, "You gotta serve somebody!"

The blockheads that stand against Israel are supporting people that would slit their throats and post a video of it on the internet.

I do not think all of these dimwits are evil. Just wrong!

President Bush's Life Threatened By Nobel Peace Laureate

Huffington Compost tipped us on to this one so I'll be doing some cut and paste from there. -

HuffPo Readers Advocate Assassinating The President

(link to Huffpo article Here: Nobel Peace Laureate: "I Would Love To Kill George Bush"...

NOBEL peace laureate Betty Williams displayed a flash of her feisty Irish spirit yesterday, lashing out at US President George W. Bush during a speech to hundreds of schoolchildren. - AustralianNews.com story here -

Campaigning on the rights of young people at the Earth Dialogues forum, being held in Brisbane, Ms Williams spoke passionately about the deaths of innocent children during wartime, particularly in the Middle East, and lambasted Mr Bush.

"I have a very hard time with this word 'non-violence', because I don't believe that I am non-violent," said Ms Williams, 64.

"Right now, I would love to kill George Bush." Her young audience at the Brisbane City Hall clapped and cheered.
~~~~~
Senor Peerpressure sez: This is what you can expect when you hand out the Nobel Peace Prize to people like Betty Williams and Yassar Arafat. It's especially disconcerting when peace prize winners address schoolchildren with dialogue like this.
To the moonbats over at the HuffPo this is just the red meat they have been lacking all week and they are famished:
prying1 sez: The comments at Huffpo swing both ways with people calling for the hanging of Betty Williams by some and calling for the murder of George Bush by others. Seems to me that threatening any American President is likely to start an investigation and an FBI file started up. Are these moonbats that ignorant?
I remember the distaste down to the hatred for the Clintons but never did I hear people calling for their murder and death. The route taken was impeachment. The fevered rhetoric on the left is floweth over.
The Democratic Party needs to disassociate themselves from this bunch. JFK must be rolling over in his grave...
The Real Answer to Embryonic Stem Cell Research
Mary Mostert of Banner of Liberty dot com had an article concerning embryonic stem cell research published at The Conservative Voice. Her arguments in favor of federal funding of embryonic stem cell research seemed to be threefold. (Italics are my words)
1: "that human life requires and begins in a mother's nurturing womb." - (Sperm and an egg in a Petri dish do not count as life.)
2: "A critical aspect of being pro-life is helping the living. Helping those struggling with the challenges of debilitating diseases is exactly what embryonic stem-cell research promises." - (An appeal to emotionalism with a 'promise' that cannot be backed up with a 'promise' for reimbursement.")
3: Senator Orrin Hatch supports it. (Well that settles it!)
prying1 sez: Let's leave aside the religious/life aspects of the argument in this debate. - The people supporting federal funding of this issue could care less about it anyway. They either deny the embryo is alive or human or don't care if it is.
I have an argument that will not shut them up either because it seems that they could care less about anything except this pet project.
My comment to Mary Mostert at the Conservative Voice site is as follows:
It is not illegal for companies to process unclaimed embryos for their embryonic stem cell research. Let them do so on their dime!
What I see is another program set up by the government where 90% of the funds goes toward paying people that will be doing none of the research themselves but instead shuffling papers at taxpayer expense!
The private sector will be more streamlined, cost effective and more likely to get results if there are any to be had.
Start scooping taxpayer money at it and the people involved will only want more and more money. It will be like a very messy pie eating contest.
Those so anxious for embryonic stem cell research should find companies doing it and INVEST THEIR OWN HARD EARNED DOLLARS IN STOCKS.
That is the American way!
... P.S. ...
~~~~~Thank you President Bush for vetoing H.R. 810!~~~~~

The Start Of This Mess

Those who have been by my site often enough know I like to take the easy way out and borrow stuff from my friends and neighbors.

Well tonight I found a soulmate in this type of blogging because Gawfer has borrowed a post from Bushwack who got the stuff he posted from Mrs. Bushwack.

Since it is on the internet I figure it is free posting material as long as you give credit where credit is due. I'm only copying part of it here and I suggest you click the following link for the full posting. Thanks Mrs. Bushwack!

Long before Christ, God spoke to Abraham and established a covenant with Him. Basically, "I will be your God and you will be my people." God promised to bless Abraham with much "seed" or descendants. However, at the time he did not have a son. Even though Abraham and Sarah were very old, God promised a nation would arise from "the promised seed." Now just like most people, Abraham and Sarah thought God was taking too long; so Sarah stepped in to hurry up the process. She let Abraham sleep with her handmaid, Hagar. Hagar became pregnant and Sarah was now angered. She sent Hagar away, to roam in the desert. The unborn child was Ishmael. While in the desert the Lord sent a messenger to Hagar, telling her to return to Abraham and also saying some things about her unborn child. God promised to make him a nation and told a little about his character, "He will be a wild donkey of a man, He will be against everyone and everyone will be against him. He will attack all his brothers." GENESIS 16:12 Hagar returned and gave birth to Ishmael.

When Abraham was 86 years old, Ishmael WAS the first born of Abraham, but he was not the promised one of God. However, God did say to Hagar, Ishmael's mother, that her son would become a nation and have many descendants. The lines of Ishmael, his 12 sons, were the leaders of the ARAB nations.
Ok, so what about God'’s promise to Abraham? When Abraham was 96 years old God gave instructions for keeping the agreement between them. A sign of the covenant, the promise of numerous seed, would be circumcision. Then when Abraham was 100 years old, Isaac was born. And he circumcised him just as the Lord had instructed. Isaac was the father of the 12 tribes of Israel.

Ishmael was not part of the covenant with God, he was uncircumcised, and he was destined to lead a life of strife, as proclaimed at his birth, and be at war with his brothers, the covenant people, the circumcised, and the promised nation of Israel. Since Ishmael was the first born of Abraham, Islamic people consider him the promised one, a prophet of God. In Islamic tradition it was Ishmael that was laid on the altar for sacrifice, not Isaac. Mecca is the place in the desert where Hagar fled when she was pregnant with Ishmael. Therefore, it is holy. The Islamic religion is a flipped or opposite of the Hebrew tradition. Ishmael takes the "hero" role and Isaac is the outcast. Islam is a perversion of the covenant with God.

~~~~~
Concerning this post Gawfer sez: The bible has been around for quite a while now, and has told us several times and in several different ways what this world is all about, past, present, and future. And there are some of us that sit back and say 'yeah, I believe it'. Well, In my humble opinion, this is clear evidence right before our eyes that what the bible says is true, and I've gone from 'believing' to 'knowing'.
How 'bout you?
~~~~~

To which prying1 sez: (commented on Gawfer's site) When I was 10 or 11 yrs. old I said to my Mom, "What is a Jew?"

She replied, "The Jews are God's chosen people."

A few moments of thought and I asked, "Why are we bothering to be Catholic?"

I could see right away that it was no sense being Catholic when Catholics were not God's 'Chosen People'.

She explained to me that Jews were born being Jews because they were related to Abraham. We were not so we were out of the loop.

Talk about unfair!

I always felt a bit... Well, maybe a lot of jealousy towards Jews after that.

UNTIL!!!

After I found out Jesus did rise again and He is still alive. I asked Him into my heart. Talk about a reality check. HE TOUCHED ME!!!

Well, reading the New Testament I found out I was grafted into the family of God and in effect had become a Jew through the 'born again' experience. Same as they take a branch from one tree and splice it into another.

I'm not jealous anymore. - John 1: 12-13 -

Typical Lefty Headline

"Israel set war plan more than a year ago
Strategy was put in motion as Hezbollah began increasing its military strength"

Thus saith Matthew Kalman of the "so open minded it gets breezy in here" legion annexed to SFgate.com (San Francisco Chronicle's website)

But if you dig a little deeper into the article you will find this:

Thursday's clashes in southern Lebanon occurred near an outpost abandoned more than six years ago by the retreating Israeli army. The place was identified using satellite photographs of a Hezbollah bunker, but only from the ground was Israel able to discover that it served as the entrance to a previously unknown underground network of caves and bunkers stuffed with missiles aimed at northern Israel, said Israeli army spokesman Miri Regev.

So lets get the headline straight. It should read,

"Hezbollah plans for years to reign terror on Israel"

U.S.'s Disproportionate Overreacting

Nathon Tabor has this piece he wrote:

What If We Were In The Shoes Of The Israelis?

"After digging under the concrete barricade that had been built in 2004 between Mexico and the United States, a small band of Mexicans, members of a militant separatist group that had infiltrated key parts of the Mexican government, kidnapped three U.S. Border Patrol Agents and scurried them back to Mexico."

"In the last year or so, crudely-made missiles had been coming across the south side of the border, mostly from the hotspots of Mexicali, Nogales, Nuevo Laredo, and Matamoros, and had been hitting U.S. towns and villages from California to Texas. It was the final straw for the current President of the United States who had been trying desperately to balance his War on Terrorism with some sort of accommodation with his country's southern neighbor."

...

"The U.S. government had tried for more than a decade to reach some sort of peace accord with Mexico, including uprooting the entire American population of New Mexico from just south of Alamogordo and west to Silver City. Giving up this land to Mexico had been instigated by the Republican President, a former army general and hero of the Vietnam conflict but had caused a year of rioting in many of the American side of the border towns. - ...

Tabor goes on to tell of Venezuela and Cuba funding the Mexican Terrorists and the U.S. finally firing back. - Then the world gets upset at the U.S. -

~~~~~
Would the appeasement in this fictional story work? Of course not. Just as it hasn't worked for Israel. Many people think that the current conflict between Israel and Hezbollah started when the Israeli soldiers were kidnapped. That is not true.
The key socialistic words of the day are, "Disproportionate" and "Overreacting". The anti-Semitic pushing of the words are pretending the operations by Israel are simply because of the kidnappings... As usual those pushing the words are ignoring facts and history and hope the rest of the world does also.
The Hezbollah would do well to get out of Dodge. They won't because it damages Israel's reputation to have to fight them in residential areas. Hezbollah should run and hide like the scurrilous dogs they are but instead they stay and hide utilizing their methods of concealment behind children, women and old men. This shows that they really are cowards and that they could care less about the INNOCENT CIVILIANS Hezbollah spokesmen are now whining about.
The question has been raised and statements made that this is indeed WWIII. It is not a war of atomic bombs (Yet - Thank God Iran does not have them - Yet) as seen in dreams and imaginations of anyone who lived through the cold war. No Mushroom clouds but instead two sets of ideals.
One set thinks it is ok to blow people up and crash airplanes filled with innocents in their god's name.
The others think that behaviour is a mite anti social.
I'll run with the second group thank you.
Godspeed Israel!
News From the Backseat
It seems that with all that is going on concerning Israel and the Hezbollah that, at least to me, a lot of news is being put on the back burner. Some important stuff seems to be going under the radar. So I thought I'd post on one that has gone to the edge of the radar screen.
IMMIGRATION:
A real hot topic just a bit ago and it is still moving sideways through our governmental processes. Yesterday Mike Pence was on Hugh Hewitt's radio show as it was guest hosted by Jed Babbin and talked about the No Amnesty Immigration Reform bill he is pushing.
It goes like this:
The Four-Step Solution: No Amnesty Immigration Reform
I (Mike Pence) see the solution as a four-step process:
1. Secure our border.
2. Make the decision, once and for all, to deny amnesty to people whose first act in the United States was a violation of the law.
3. Put in place a guest worker program, without amnesty, that will efficiently provide American employers with willing guest workers who come to America legally.
4. Enforce tough employer sanctions that ensure a full partnership between American business and the American government in the enforcement of our laws on immigration and guest workers.
More can be found on Mike Pence's Website.
prying1 sez: The plan Mike proposed sounded pretty good but (There is always a big but... - PeeWee Herman) I have to wonder about the illegals in the country now. According to the plan they will have to go back to their home country and apply for the program through private agencies there.
Quote - Step Three: Enact a no amnesty guest worker program using private-sector firms
Therefore, the solution is to set up a system that will encourage illegal aliens to self-deport and come back legally as guest workers. Private worker placement agencies that we could call 'Ellis Island Centers' will be licensed by the federal government to match willing guest workers with jobs in America that employers cannot fill with American workers.
U.S. employers will engage the private agencies and request guest workers. In a matter of days, the private agencies will match guest workers with jobs, perform health screenings, fingerprinting, provide the appropriate information to the FBI and Homeland Security so that a background check can be performed and provide the guest worker with a visa granted by the State Department. The visa will be issued only outside of the United States.
The process that I just described to you will only take a matter of one week, or less. That is the beauty of the program. Speed is so important. No employer in America wants to lose employees for an extended amount of time. No worker who is earning money to feed and clothe a family can afford to be off the job for long.
But, an employer faced with a looming requirement to verify the legality of its employees and stiff fines for employing illegal aliens will be willing to use a quick system to obtain legal employees. And, an illegal alien currently employed in America will be willing to take a quick trip across the border to come back outside of the shadows and into a job where he does not fear a raid by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Imagine for a moment asking millions of people to line up at the U.S. Consulate in Mexico City to obtain a visa to come to America and work as a guest worker. It would be a disaster. Now, imagine private companies competing against each other to process guest worker applicants and match the applicants with open jobs. Imagine the application of American business ingenuity to this process. That, my friends, is why this program will work. - end quote -
Will it work? I don't know but it does sound better than the system we now have which is to leave the borders open and anything goes.
~~~~~
Addendum: I thought I might mention that my main concern is the open border and the security problems it entails. How loud will people from both sides of the political spectrum howl if some terrorists come across the border (North or South) and destroy a school full of children?

Progressive Liberal (?) Comment Brought Into the Light

I received this comment from a Mr. X and it was placed in a thread that was not apropos for the subject. Using Haloscan I was able to move it to a better suited post.

Then thinking about it I saw that this gentleman's (I use the term loosely) comment contained so many errors that it should be brought to the top. I don't mean errors of punctuation or spelling (I changed nothing but I sure did want to...) but his entire premise in the comment assumes so much of two groups of people that just is not true.

I believe the first paragraph "prying1:" was taken from a comment I left on another blog. Sigh! I do not know which and Mr. X did not say. So it goes.

prying1: It is all one group of Islamofacists with different labels on them. They all want to subjugate women, kill infidels and make believe they are doing God's will while bombing & murdering civilians.

God change one word and it sounds like the south.
"It is all one group of evengelicalfacists with different labels on them. They all want to subjugate women, kill infidels and make believe they are doing God's will while bombing & murdering civilians."

change one word and it sounds like Isreal
It is all one group of Zionist facists with different labels on them. They all want to subjugate women, kill infidels and make believe they are doing God's will while bombing & murdering civilians.
except in the case of isreal they skip the subjugating women part.

see? its all in how you look at it and what side your on.
Mr.X | Edit comment Delete comment | Email | Homepage | 07.16.06 - 4:45 pm | #

Mr. X's comment moved to and taken from this post. - There was either an error in his homepage link or his blog has been deleted... - His email might or might not work if you care. I'm too tired to bother.

~~~~~~~~
Update: Daniel, (a thinking man!) of Fight The Good Fight! saw the reason for this post. Joe (a typical liberal) missed it.) Check the first two comments and you will see what I mean.
Update #2: Thanks to Daniel I found Mr. X and his pitiful blogsite. I left the following message on one of his pro terrorist posts.
Even if Israel allowed all it's citizens to be pushed into the sea the terrorist organizations would not be satisfied. They would continue bombing innocent peoples around the world as they are doing now. Engand, Spain, Philippines, India, Germany (Olympics ring a bell?), U.S., France, Bali (the list goes on...)
What do all these countries have in common with the Jews that the fanatical Islamofacists hate.
They are filled with people the Islamofacists are willing to murder whether through direct or indirect means... That includes each and every person that has read this posting.
That also includes the author of this post.
Answer this Mr. X: - Do you think the terrorists love you and would not kill you because you are on their side?
Hells Bells. They would like nothing more that to strap a suicide vest to you and send you out into the marketplace.
Blogmad Exploits
It seems that a few bugs in the Blogmad Blog Traffic Exchange system were able to be exploited. One of the members, Zero at Zerodaymoney.com, who volunteered to be a beta tester found the bugs, reported them and 3 months later saw they were still not fixed. The gentleman who found the problems then took it to a blogpost.
That got attention real quick.
One of the Blogmad Administrators - DocterMoo - left this comment on the blogpost:
~~~~~
Hi,

We have patched the bugs that you have brought to attention. Unfortunately other people have tried to implement your banner hack with little success and are ruining the BlogMad surfbar experience.

If you find anything else in the future, you now have my personal email address - let me know and I will take care of it as quickly as I can.

Thanks
~~~~~
Apparently some unscrupulous blog surfers tried the hacks/exploits. I for one hope they were bumped off Blogmad as punishment.
Now as you surf Blogmad you will see a little popup window letting you know that changing the Blogmad code will no longer work.
I also see it when my blogsite page is loaded.
It is a bit annoying but I don't think it will be up forever. At least I hope not.
Well, Zero Day Money has been punished by being banned from the shoutbox.
Zero's newest post says, -
~~~~~
1. An angry camper mod named Lydia has banned me from the shoutbox, when I posted the exploit (because she deemed it as spam) instead of someone trying to help.

2. They have asked me not to post these exploits and instead Email them. Hrmmmm thats kinda ironic considering that what I originally did. So I propose a kind of truce, I will stop publicly posting these exploits when I am become no longer banned on the shoutbox.

3. They have claimed to have fixed these exploits. - - - This one is only partially true...
~~~~~
prying1 sez: Perhaps Zero should have tried a bit harder to get the attention of the Blogmad administrators prior to posting the exploits but one thing for sure the administrators are now really paying attention.
I think that the administrators should give an attaboy and bigger thanks to Zero and at the same time go through their records and find those who cheated on a regular basis.
Those who cheated should be set back to a reasonable level or booted from the program.
Openness on the part of the Blogmad team is a must. In order to continue having the trust of those loyal and honest members the Blogmad people should start an open dialog with members to see what the members think should be done to the cheaters.
People stealing credits takes away from the good honest folks having their turn at bat. I love Blogmad and plan on continuing to use it because it is a good clean program and I've made quite a few friends and enemies from it. I'm glad Zero posted the exploits. I hope he is quickly given the shoutbox privileges back. Perhaps he will take down the two exploit posts and his working relationship with the Blogmad administrators will take on a new and friendly life.
Thanks Zero - Thanks DocterMoo - and I hope the problems are quickly and easily worked out.
~~~~~

For those blogsurfers who have not tried Blogmad I would suggest you do so. Easy to set up. Great bunch of members and you WILL draw new people to your site.

Just click on the link and check it out!

Israel Update: Egyptian Ship

Here is one that might up the ante a bit:

JERUSALEM (Reuters U.K.) - A missile fired at an Israeli naval vessel off Lebanon early on Saturday missed the target and hit an Egyptian boat instead, the Israeli army said.

"There has been another attempt to attack an Israeli naval vessel. It missed our ship and instead hit a different ship, an Egyptian vessel," an Israeli army spokeswoman said.

prying1 sez: Here is hoping that nobody was injured on the Egyptian ship and at the same time here is hoping the bad guys continue missing Israeli ships!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UPDATE - - - Aljazeera.net reports:
It was thought that a second land-to-sea missile had hit and sank an Egyptian merchant ship but it has since emerged that it was a Cambodian merchant vessel that was hit.
The 12 Egyptian sailors on board survived the attack and were collected from the water by other passing ships.
U.S. Needs to Just Wish Israel Godspeed.
The U.S. politicians need to quit telling Israel to "Take it easy" and instead just wish them Godspeed. They have had enough. Surrounded by enemies of democracy Israel has been more than patient enough. It is time to remove those who wish to destroy Israel
- They (Israel) gave them (Arabs) the land and it was still not enough! The whole world can now see that the terrorist mentality will never be appeased or satisfied. Giving in to them only encourages them to commit more atrocities.
I was recently reminded of a passage of scripture in Second Kings ch. 6.
(setup: The king of Aram was at war with Israel. Elisha, the prophet, kept warning the King of Israel of the plots and plans of the King of Aram thereby foiling the Aramean king. The king of Aram finds out it is Elisha that was giving away the classified battle plans so he sends an army against the prophet Elisha.)
13 "Go, find out where he is," the king ordered, "so I can send men and capture him." The report came back: "He is in Dothan." 14 Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there. They went by night and surrounded the city.
15 When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh, my lord, what shall we do?" the servant asked.
16 "Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them."
17 And Elisha prayed, "O LORD, open his eyes so he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
~~~~~

Lord, I pray that the same "horses and chariots of fire" along with a bunch of angels surround the Israeli military. Let the enemy be confused and fearful and send them running before the defenders of Your holy land. Let the plans of the Islamofacists come to naught. Have bombs they set up explode as they prepare them. Have their rockets be destroyed prior to reaching their targets. Destroy them with their own weapons. - Amen.

Regarding the Blasts in India and the Events in Israel

I'm linking the two stories. Both the Blasts in India and the attacks and kidnappings in Israel. Both were committed by terrorists and whether the groups responsible are related in any way, shape or form is besides the point. There evidently are links between the groups but in the main idea I'd like to present that does not matter.

The point is:

THIS IS NOT BUSH'S WAR!!!

The War on Terrorism is a worldwide conflict. It does not matter where a person lives, what their politics, religion, age, gender, or even if they pity the terrorists because they were mistreated as children. None of that matters. What does matter is that everyone in the world who cares about people is involved whether they like it or not. If the next victim is not you, it may be a friend, neighbor, brother or sister that is next on the hit list.

There are people in this world willing to murder anyone that is on a bus, train, in a store, at a school, in a pizza parlor or just walking down the street. Just look to the news of the past few days/months/years and you will see the truth of this.

If the ideals of the Muslim Terrorists were simply to drive Israel into the sea then why India? If it is because of the United States invading Iraq to depose Saddam Hussein then why Israel? If people are being murdered because of Kashmir, the disputed land between India and Pakistan, then why Baghdad?

The terrorists are not murdering people just because they have nothing better to do and it is not a single reason that drives them. The same should apply to those who are good people and don't appreciate innocents being blown up. There should not be one single reason to stop the good people of this world from taking a stand against such "anti-social" behavior.

The same is true that there should not be a single reason to have good people put up blockades to stop terrorism.

There has been a movement by good (but misguided) people that has done just that. The NSA and Swift Programs have been badly damaged through their change from classified status to front page status. Both programs were designed to stop terrorism and both were effective. Will more classified programs like them be damaged in a similar fashion? There will be if there is not an attitude change amongst some of those amidst us.

In order to alleviate the guilt it was proclaimed that both programs were stomping all over the privacy rights of people but in reality both programs had safeguards to prevent that from happening. It was said that the terrorists already knew we were tracking their money but they DID NOT KNOW the extent and effectiveness. Both programs were effective and the single reason they were revealed was "Hate Bush!"

The "Hate Bush" crowd needs to realize that, as I said before, this is not. "Bush's War". Nobody wants to trample your rights. There is no big conspiracy to throw liberals into gulags. The conservative right is not the process of building up a Theocracy and if we are patient the troops will be brought out of Iraq and Iraq will govern itself. All in good time and not by a schedule that will give aid and comfort to criminals. Just as Germany and Japan after WWII were built up and released to run their own governments the same is the plan for Iraq.

This is really an entreaty for those in the "Hate Bush" camp to take a look around and realize that there is a global war by terrorists against innocents. Do you really want all good men to sit back and let them have their way? Please set aside the "Hate Bush" point of view for a little bit. At least that part that gives aid and comfort to terrorists. Education, social programs, domestic issues can and should be fair game, debated and voted upon. Run with your point of view on those issues but when it comes to revealing classified information that has the possibility of capturing murderers please back off.

Let the MSM know that running classified information as a means of selling papers is not acceptable.

New Classified Documents Revealed!

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

This one is hot off the wire.

We thought that revelations of the classified NSA program and the SWIFT program (supposedly set up to catch terrorists) were hot news (THANKS NEW YORK TIMES AND LOS ANGELES TIMES!) but this tops them both!

We cannot say which newswire this is hot off of because reporters like to keep their sources close to the vest so to speak. In fact newsgatherers do a better job of keeping their material classified then the Federal Government does. (Having what the right wingers call 'traitorous moles' in the government helps:-)

The MSM also has a good understanding of the reasons for keeping resources hidden. Otherwise the American People would not be informed of secret programs that the current regime has prepared to enslave them. Who cares if terrorists find out about the classified programs too. The important thing is that the news gets out to protect innocents. After the Classified Information is placed on the World Wide Web some of these same innocents might get hit by shrapnel from an uncaptured terrorist. Oh well! Small price to pay as long as we have our freedoms. (place flag logo here)

At least we know we are patriotic even if the rabid, hatemongering, homophobic, anti-multicultural, bigoted, islamophobic, anti-immigrant, sneaky, treacherous, deceitful, capitalistic, underhanded, anti-anarchistic, radical, conniving, double-crossing, shifty, fanatical, deceptive, pro life, bourgeois, false-hearted, unscrupulous, pro-Christian, delusive, incontinent, dissembling, evil, wicked, mean and nasty, right winged, trailertrash that President Bush calls his base doesn't.
(place burning flag logo here)

We know you are anxious so here it is:

Anti-Bush Enthusiasts To be Placed in Gitmo!

Guantanamo Bay will soon be empty after the Supreme Court gets finished usurping President Bush's power grabbing circle of thugs. Recent classified documents that have come into our hands discloses plans from the ubiquitous White House. An unnamed (for obvious reasons) reliable source sent the papers in a Piggly Wiggly shopping bag.

Unfortunately for our unnamed source he had left his receipt in the bag. Through it our ever unrestful team of crack reporters were able to track him down (Thanks CSI for teaching us how). Through payola and threats we are assured of having several more classified documents in our hands for years to come. Concern was shown by a now disgruntled ex-employee that our methods were simply using Whitehouse tactics against 'one of our own'. In a meeting of our editorial staff it was determined to be ethical because we decided it is for the 'good of humanity'.

The current collection of papers tells of plans to round up, "every mother's son who expresses displeasure over the way this war is being run."

One page has several plans for what to do with those collected in what was termed "The Gathering" (A sometimes religious term which seemed fitting coming from this gang of fanatical fiends).

The plans included:

Reopening Alcatraz.
Pushing them onto a deep lake in leaky canoes.
Tar and feathering.
Sending them to Mexico for an exchange program.
Sending them to Alaska as forced labor for ANWAR drilling
Sacrificing them to Hawaii's volcanoes
And!!! Circled in red: Sending them to Guantanamo once it is empty.

Remember you read it here first!

The classified documents included plans for putting the unused trailers from the Katrina disaster at Guantanamo once the underfed and ill treated freedom fighters are released back into the wild.

A memo that appeared to be in Vice President Cheney's handwriting said: "6 months of living in those trailers will have them ready to vote Republican. We can pump in real loud Country and Western music too!"

Another memo asked, "Should we give them copies of AlGores book if they demand them?

Scrawled across the bottom was the answer. "Let them read Bibles!"

Calls to the Whitehouse from our cell phone were not retur

A Prairie Apologist Speaks Out on North Korea and Kim Jong Il

Phil Dillon - Another Man's Meat had this neat little interview with himself concerning North Korea: Duck and Cover

I did a little one man Q&A a while ago, trying to make sense of it all. Here's what I've come up with so far:

Q. Is Kim Jong-il a madman?
A. Yes!

Q. Would he use nuclear or chemical weapons on South Korea, Japan, the United States, or any other enemy of the people?
A. Absolutely!

Q. Is he working the back channels with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Council of Guardians and the Assembly of Experts?
A. Yes!

Q. Do you think Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Council of Guardians, and the Council of Experts are fruitcakes?
A. Yes!

Q. Do you think they would use nuclear or chemical weapons against Israel, the United States, or any other enemy of the People?s Revolution?
A. Without a shadow of a doubt!

Q. Do you think that Kim and Mahmoud are in cahoots?
A, Of course they are!

Q. What can we do about it?
A. Not much.

Q. Are you insane? We?ve got to do something, don?t we?
A1. No, I?m just a guy in the lonely Flint Hills waiting for the sirens to sound.
A2. We should have done something a long time ago.

Q. What are the options?
A. They aren't pretty. We can add more sanctions and more North Koreans will starve to death. We can go to the United Nations and China will block any international effort to bring Kim to account this provocation and the daily atrocities he commits against his own population. We can take military action and the North Koreans will attack South Korea and Japan and thousands, possibly millions, will die. Or we can do nothing (the preferred option of talking heads) and wait for the inevitable attack from the two remaining points on the Axis of Evil.

Rosy scenarios, one and all, aren?t they? And Joe Biden is basically telling us to go back to sleep. Thanks Joe! And, thanks to the Democratic Party of my youth. Thanks to them, and Jimmy Carter in particular, we've now got ourselves stuck in the tar pit.

It?s all eerily reminiscent of the fifties and "duck and cover." The only thing missing is Bert the Turtle. But I suspect as this all unfolds he'll soon be coming back into fashion.

A Blog Post On Israel

AubreyJ said in a comment on a previous posing that, "I'm still waiting on you to put up a couple of posts on North Korea and Israel.
Love to hear your take on all this mess....".

Here now is the second installment AubreyJ. I was going to put them into one post but the first half got rather long. - We'll see how the second one goes...

Before I get started on this I would like to explain a bit about the term covenant. The marriage vows we have today are the closest thing we can compare to the old time covenants. The two become one, everything they have becomes the property of the other, promises to protect care for, etc... - Becoming blood brothers is covenant making. Livingston, in going through darkest Africa, made his way through by having blood covenants with tribal chiefs as he met them. Each covenant would protect him as he traveled towards the next tribe. The ceremony might be different from place to place but each covenant maker puts their lives at the disposal of the other. Trust is paramount. Breaking the covenant was unthinkable.

Israel

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
"May those who love you be secure.
May there be peace within your walls
and security within your citadels."

- Psalm 122: vs 6&7 -

~~~~~
We need some Muslims to read that and believe that the Living God meant it. Then they need to tell their buddies and so on. It is God's desire for peace in Jerusalem and indeed all of Israel. What stops this prayer from the book of Psalms becoming reality is that there are people in this world that refuse to believe that God did indeed give a piece of property to one man for him and his chosen descendents.
~~~~~ Genesis 13: vs 14-18 (NIV) ~~~~~

14 The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, "Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. 15 All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. 16 I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. 17 Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you."

18 So Abram moved his tents and went to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, where he built an altar to the LORD.
~~~~~ and Genesis 15 vs 18-21 says ~~~~~
18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, "To your descendants I give this land, from the river
of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates- 19 the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, 20 Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, 21 Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites."
~~~~~

After this it gets a bit complicated. Abram had two children. One, the first son, with Hagar, his wife's servant. (Genesis 16) Sarah, does not have any children and the prospects of having any gets rather dim. She was 76 and Abram 86 when she demanded her husband, Abram try to have a child with Hagar, her handmaiden. The child would have legally been Sarah's. Remember this was prior to the 10 Commandments being given to Moses. Ishmael is born and God rejects him as the recipient of the covenant God had made with Abram (Now called Abraham)

- Ishmael is 13 years old when: -

~~~~~ Genesis 17 vs 17-22 ~~~~~
17 Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself, "Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?" 18 And Abraham said to God, "If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!"
19 Then God said, "Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. [d] I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him. 20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. 21 But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you by this time next year." 22 When he had finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him.
~~~~~

Enough of history. It turns out today that we have two sets of Abram's/Abraham's children fighting one another. Both want to claim the promise of property God gave to Abraham. Both want to be the recipients of God's covenant with their father. Both have completely missed the true purpose of the covenant. There was a promise mixed into all of it of a better way to really know God. Not to just know ABOUT Him but to KNOW Him in a real and personal way. A promise to become God's true children related to Him in a real and tangible way.

~~~~~~ John 1 vs 10-13 ~~~~~
10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
~~~~~

Paul Billheimer said of this scripture that in and through Jesus Christ God the Father realizes his paternal longings.

The majority of the Jews and the Moslems have missed this. Many Christians have missed this too. Hence the fighting. "We are all God's Chillun", as the saying goes. But this is only true for those who have joined into the real Blood Covenant which was fulfilled when Jesus died and rose again.

As for today's most recent developments in the Middle East and specifically Israel and Gaza I think that it would be best for the U.S. to just back out and let the two go at it.

I believe the property Israel won in the 6 Day War was won fair and square. Israel was attacked and fought back. Their enemies lost property. Israel should have kept the property but instead gave it to a peoples government that will not be satisfied with the gift. They will never be satisfied because they are missing the only thing in life that can truly satisfy the Inner man. That is a relationship with the Creator of all that exists.

A solution to the Middle East problem? Wait for the Second Coming. - Can we do anything to hurry up the day? No, so trying to start Armageddon is foolish and will not work. Pray for Peace in Jerusalem even though it looks hopeless? Yes, because the Psalms instructs us to.

A Blog Post on North Korea

AubreyJ said in a comment on a previous posing that, "I'm still waiting on you to put up a couple of posts on North Korea and Israel.
Love to hear your take on all this mess....".

Well here is the first installment AubreyJ. I was going to put them into one post but the first half got rather long...

North Korea - This country is one of the saddest examples of man's inhumanities to man. A huge segment of the population is in slavery to a government that is more horrendous than any U.S. plantation prior to the U.S. Civil War. The rest are simply toadies. I've heard it said that if a citizen of North Korea tries to run away to the south or north to China and is captured they wrap a wire around their clavicle (easily found on any starving body) to use as a leash to bring them back to their work place. (It is not known what happened to the North Korean woman the link above tells of. The link is to show the heartlessness of the Chinese Government concerning North Korean refugees.)

The left in the U.S. has been interjecting into their anti war rhetoric for quite a while, "Why Iraq"? Why did we go after Saddam when we have dictators all over the world then they cite Iran and North Korea as examples. Part of their harangue makes it appear that they are really concerned about the peoples of Iran and North Korea when in reality it is just a smoke screen for their "Hate Bush" tirade. - They could care less about the peoples of all three countries and really just want more monies spent on social programs as opposed to the military ventures, the U.S. under Bush, has undertaken.

I'm taking book on the World Governments going after these fools that threaten neighbors, run their countries into the dirt and send uncontrollable rockets willy nilly. This will be undertaken without the criminal riddled U.N.'s approval.

The world cannot afford to have these crazies getting their hands on weapons that indiscriminately kill civilians because they could and will be used against any country's civilians that is within reach. This messes up economies and ruins the tax bases. Not to mention some countries have leaders that really do care about human lives. (U.S. included despite what the loony left says.)

As soon as the good guys do go after the heartless dictators the "Progressives" will howl with anger and show they begrudge freedom for the peoples of each nation for their own self centered social welfare funds. - - - Pitiful group of humans the "Progressive Liberals" are composed of. - - - Fortunately they do not speak for the majority of those in the U.S. regardless the polls the left continually takes. Europe (especially France) is another matter.

I wish it would be sooner rather than later that the leaders and the armies of toadies of these counties are taken out. Real people are suffering in North Korea and Iran too. Many Iranians in the U.S. are looking forward to our ousting the current Iranian government. Not many North Koreans are in the U.S. to look forward to the ousting of Kim Jung Il. See previous note about the wires. When the time comes for booting the North Korean dictator I certainly hope China will stay out of the way. If China interferes with setting the North Korean peoples free it certainly will cause more unnecessary deaths in a country that has already seen too much suffering at the hands of a socialistic/communistic government.

~~~~~
Below is a portion of the Earthlights picture that shows the Korean Peninsula Notice the lack of lights/electricity in the North while there is an abundance in the south.
I hereby challenge any lefty to tell the world that socialism/communism is a good thing. Don't tell me that this example is not the one to use. This is ultimately the extreme that socialism runs all of mankind down to. If socialism were allowed to run rampant through the world then man's inhumanities would run rampant too...
~~~~~

Lord - Please bring freedom to the North Korean peoples in what ever way you see best. - Amen

Why Socialism?

I'm at a loss as to why those on the left think socialism is the way to go.

If an armed man went into a socialist's house and demanded, ummmm, say all the appliances in the house. Told the socialist owner of the appliances that they were to go to a 'needy' family down the street. Would the socialist really be proud and joyful that they can contribute to the needs of others?

I doubt it. They are going to be ticked off that their appliances are stolen from them no matter the reason.

The same premise holds true for taxes. The socialists in this country want higher taxes to help with the social welfare programs. This is tantamount to having an armed man come into a persons home and stealing their property.

The conservatives are called all kinds of mean and nasty names and spat upon because they don't care about the needs of the poor. Wrong. Conservatives prefer a different way of handling the problem. The old 'teach a man to fish' solution.

Help lift the poor up instead of keeping them held to a below poverty level which is what social welfare programs do.

Blog Roll Check!

I try to run through my blog roll every day. Don't always get to do it but mosts days I hit the majority of them. I have yet to delete any blogs from my blogroll but I did recently take down a long list of names that were from "Hugh Hewitt inspired blogs". The reason being that quite a few were dead links or had not been updated in over a year... I tried contacting the originator of the list but was met with zero help. So it goes. - This made my sidebar a bit emptier but now it is easier to check my blogroll. -

Thought I'd list a few of the stories/posts from my blogroll that I found interesting:

New Rosemead Times has this quick read on Jimmy Carter and the KGB - "Recent KGB documents show Jimmy Carter as a man obsessed with a hatred of Ronald Reagan. This hatred extended to asking the KGB for help."

You can visit Mark at 1or2thoughts and leave your ideas on the Supreme Court's recent decision re: Gitmo. My comment/answer did not quite satisfy him. What is the check against judicial imbalance? - "[N]o court, justice, or judge shall have jurisdiction to hear or consider an application for a writ of habeas corpus filed by or on behalf of an alien detained by the Department of Defense at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba."

Even if that were not clear enough, the Constitution confers the role of Commander in Chief for the President and requires the Senate's approval for treaty ratification both of which have been appropriated in this case. So Con Law professors, what is the check against judicial imbalance?

Ted Richardson has a piece entitled "If Someone Promises to Fix Your Credit - Proceed with Caution!" - Whether it be on a telephone pole, classified advertisement, or a spam e-mail, we all see "advertising lures" that promise to repair people's bad credit. Many of them are bogus - and the sad fact is - they target people, who are already "needy" and take more of their money. -

AubreyJ's reminder of the Possible Chemical Production Facility that hit the news then dropped from the radar. Is it part of the 500 WMD's report that was presented by Rick Santorum?

Senor Peer Pressure of Huffington Compost has a great posting, Praise Korea, Bash The U.S., about the HuffPo's coverage of the North Korean missle launches vs. the Shuttle launch. - It really shows the anger and hatred of the "progressive Liberals" for all things America and George Bush. (Caution: Some quotes from liberals are profane! As usual...)

The last I'm posting is from WebLoafer over at Sanities Bluff - "Let's Talk About Hate" - A picture post with commentary about where the hate really eminates from in this great and wonderful country. -

Sorry to those of you I missed - I have to get to work. - You all have great blogs going and I hope you continue on in this new means of getting your thoughts and opinions out there for the world to see. - Carry on!
